So anyone who has seen Jhins abilities as well as following the teasers knows that he seems to have a connection to the numbers four. Jhin has four letters, four champions were shot in the teasers, Jhin has a four hit passive, etc. This leads me to an interesting theory. In many eastern cultures like china and korea the number four is considered the most unlucky number of all. It is not uncommon to see the number four be absent in many places such as room numbers and floors. This is because the number "Four," is pronounced in a similar way to the word "Death." Coincidence? I think not! Go to the Wikipedia article that i have linked for more details and feel free to discuss in the comments!

Wow need a road map for this one. Neat idea though, Would like it if they really have that connection maybe through a quote. If he kills someone with the final shot of his ult he could say it and it'd be said to all players

Also, in Japanese, the number 4 (四) has two different words - よん and し. When counting, people prefer to say ichi, ni, san, yon; this is because 'shi' is the Japanese word for 'Death.'

And, considering that Ionia is inspired by east Asian countries, I'm not surprised that they'd reference something like that in Jhin.
