Are the marvel stories going to be canon or their own thing?
Will the marvel comic events be used to further actual in game lore/ character development or are they their own spin-off adventures?

The comics are a direct continuation of the cannon lore
Cannon in-lore. Ghostcrawler pointed out that with this comics they want to get into the next step of lore, since they are almost done setting up and can go move forward with stories and comics.
