Been playing some Heroes of Might and Magic, and you get to use Genies and Efreeti among your forces in some of the games. Good times.
Would a being that's a Genie in all but name be something Riot might explore in the Shurima scene? And no, skins don't count.

If Riot were to implement a Djinn of some kind, I would hope they do it right. The Djinn are an incredibly compelling facet of Middle Eastern folklore, and Riot could do better to expand outside the Western/Far-East themes they have going so far.
Not sure if actual djinns exist,but I imagine that some djinn-like spirits could easily exist in runeterra.
Genies are demons or spirits, so maybe a luck spirit or a fortune demon would be called a "genie" ?
I dont understand the topic of this thread, is it to ask if in-universe do genies/djinn exist or is it a sublte way of suggesting if one day there might be a genie/djinn type champion?
Either way the obvious answer is either a no or anything is possible.
How does one summon The Djinn on the boards? And no, I'm not rubbing his fucking lamp.
