I mean, the Great Harrowing of Noxus where Mordekaiser invades Noxus to take back the Immortal Bastion simply has to happen soon, its pretty crucial to pushing forward the story for pretty much every Shadow Isles champion. I am also biased as a Morde main.
Well, the void invasion is too early, in my opinion. However, Mordekaiser's invasion of Noxus should come with his VGU. The Watchers' return is also a bit too early, would better be tied with the Void invasion as a whole. Azir vs Xerath would be a cool little event that would not be too far off our current timeline.
The event that we could all probably expect pretty soon would probably be something related to the Freljord. Perhaps Nunu's VGU will shed some more light on the situation over there. Other than that, I would be excited for pretty much anything that would expand upon the lore.
Honestly, I just want them to finish with the events that are already happening. How is the civil war in Shurima going? Had

Because is something that seems like a mor immediate thing than a prolongue event like the noxian plans of invasion of Piltover, or even the war in Freljord, that now seem more like skirmishes.

We know that a metric buttload of stuff is going to happen in Piltover/Zaun. Noxus is planning an invasion, and I'm sure Urgot would be eager to join the fray if Swain was leading the assault. Jhin is also coming to town, and it's likely that Shen and Zed are going to follow him. If Kayn gets word of his master's presence, he will no doubt rush to join in. And if Varus, who is currently in Shurima, finds out about Rhaast, he'll likely try to make his way there too. Speaking of going from Shurima to Piltover, there's also Skarner to consider...
There's also the theory that Ezreal has a World Rune, which would add even more stakes to the Piltover Pileup.
A proper Demacian event, without the entire lore getting hogged by 1 character. 
A VS event revolving around the Blossom Festival, where Shen's Order and Zed's Chaos set aside their differences and fight together to destroy the ultimate Evil that is Jhin.
Ta'anari being revived to fight Aatrox, The Darkin uprising. Camille vs C. Actually, EVERYTHING.

Shadow Isles. Involving all of the shadow Isles champs, and also the Bilgewater champs, and hell even Ionia, make the Shadow Isles expand and take part of bilgewater, and start making their way to Ionia.

Azir meets Xerath
Then all of them meets in a field, and make a 2v2.
In the end, Renekton turns side and it becomes 3v1.
I can't forsee what happens then.
First battle could also be Xerath's mindwashed army vs Azir's sandsoldier army.
There are too much possibilities, I can't handle.
I also would like to see Shurima vs Noxus, learn World's opinion on Rise of Shurima and Return of Demigods.
