Dont get me wrong, I like the new design, and he looks so fun to play, but he is clearly no Yeti any more.
He looks like one of the wild things from "Where the Wild Things Are", or something from Monster AG. Which is cool, but clearly not a Yeti any more...
hes still a yeti its just not a card board cutout of what people usually think of when someone says yeti

Willump's current form is a reflection of Nunu's heart. He was a monstrous beast when the Frostguard sent its people and before the snowball fight. It looks like yetis as a species might have the magical property of being shaped by the feelings and motivations of those around them.
