Judgement Kayle and Silver Kayle are so limited. their rework seems like a waste

First and foremost, I think that it's important to acknowledge that the reason that Judgement Kayle and Silver Kayle have caused such an uproar is because Riot has done absolutely amazing work on the art direction of this rework. These skins are absolutely beautiful now, from splash to in-game model and demonstrate some of the best work that Riot has done. The problem is that, for someone who DEFINITELY wasn't playing League from day one or season one, these skins may as well be fan art.

For even as much time as I have been playing League I don't think I've seen either of these skins maybe more than once, if at all, and that's a heck of a lot of summoner's rift! While Kayle maybe has been out of the meta for a while, this rework will (hopefully) make a lot of fans really excited to play her and I'll be seeing a lot more of her in my games and playing her quite a bit more myself. But, with so much work put into these skins, its a shame that I still won't see much of them in particular, if at all.

I recognize that the current limitation to the release of these skins exists in the fact that it would otherwise be a "betrayal" to fans who have been with the game since day one and acquired these skins through their originally intended means. I get that this is a legitimate concern as Riot seems to have always done well in earning the respect and loyalty of its fans by listening to us and while few may have the ability to say as much, there would most likely be some outrage if the skins were simply released with no acknowledgement of the prestige of having them. The thing is, there have been ways around this problem before.

Neo Pax Sivir is the example on everybody's minds that I think brings us the most hope. Here Riot took a super-rare skin and tweaked it so as to be able to release it again to the public, but still have something to show for those who were able to acquire it the original way. This same concept would be easy to apply to each of these skins, perhaps offering "Bronze Kayle" or "Neo Judgement Kayle" (Okay, maybe not that name). These could be chromas, minor textural adjustments, have basic recalls, or be in some sense slightly downgraded. Maybe they could be released using the new prestige system, which has already been created as a way for dedicated fans to exemplify their love of this game or just using gemstones like a lot of awesome but limited skins. In the end, however they could be released again these skins should be enjoyed, not just held on a pedestal in a dark, dusty, 10 year old server when they aren't even the skins that were originally given out to begin with.
