Nocturne's Future Rework [Release unknown]

My boys at Riot have announced my first champion I ever bought is pretty high up on the rework list, along with other beloved champions of mind (Volibear Udyr ). So I must ask: What would stay and what would go about him? In my opinion, he could easily fit in as a demon of runeterra that feasts off of fear, similar to Pennywse. Why I think this is because of his somewhat recent POSSIBLE appearance in a story called For Demacia, which depicts him as such. Do you guys think Riot will approach the demon theme or more focus on him corrupting dreams and sleep? Or maybe even both?

Nocturnes core theme is that he is a living nightmare and I think that is not going to change. Removing that aspect from him would reduce him to "just another demon" in the roster unless they add something else to make him unique.

Though given that nightmares directly relate to our biggest fears I'd say it'd be pretty natural that he'll be both,a demon who feeds off fear and a being that corrupts nightmares.

In general I think it was actually pretty genius to include him into the demacia update, because if Nocturne hated the summoners in the old lore, his updated bio pretty much just replaced "summoners" with mages,so its rather fitting that Nocturne is now living in a country that despises mages and magic.

His thematic is GREAT. His kit and visuals just don't execute on it. He needs to be A LOT more terrifying. His ult pulls that off extremely well; the rest of his kit, not so much.

I expect a rework of only his basic abilities, with ult changes to synergize. And the usual visual upgrade and whatnot.

The only thing nocturne really needs done is something with his Q.

Right now it has a cast animation... if you are moving ( chasing someone or escaping ) and press your Q it makes him stop for a second in order to cast it. When running away this could mean slowing down for that second to where the enemy can get in range and finish you off... meaning an ability that could be used for an escape now can't be used. When chasing, that cast also makes it a high risk, if you press Q and miss it then you won't be able to catch up to get onto the person. With how many mobility champions are being added to the game, this handicap is becoming more and more apparent.

If they just changed it so his Q didn't act this way it would feel like a rework. He would move swiftly through fights like you'd expect him to. Right now he just feels clunky.

Nocturne was the first 6300 I ever bought

I had just been working my way up from the bottom of the cost ladder until then xd

According to the LOL wiki, he's been classified as a wrath demon, who probably feeds off of anger-induced fear or fear-induced anger, or both. That's the best way for a wrath demon to be demonic.

Also works with his gameplay because his ult can sometimes seriously piss me off. Yes, ADC main speaking here.
