Please Riot you cant suddenly decide that they created the void... I mean theyre still in the pit down there dwelling and hoping to escape... Its just odd to add the watchers to the void :( If the iceborn were able to overthrow them how is it possible that theyre powerful enough to create the void? So many questions so little answers...
They didn't create it. The Void was born at the birth of the universe itself. They are its masters though (and probably the thing laughing at Aurelion Sol).
Yeeeah I don't really get that either. Were those just different kinds of Watchers or something? Frozen Watchers as opposed to Void Watchers? What the hell?
Or maybe what they fought weren't the real Watchers? But why would the Void masterminds also give people ice powers? Don't they just want to consume everything? Why make everything ice and etc etc.
GUYS I GOT A REPLY FROM A RIOTER ON ANOTHER POST! I asked if we will get a Lissandra lore update and he said YES!!! Wait. Where did it say that? I read the new stories but I don’t recall the watchers being mentioned.
Does everything really need to come from one source? Do we really need to flanderize all the troubles of Runeterra down to one monolithic source?
