Thoughts on the New Darius Comic and Knights of the Old Republic 2 (spoilers)
Reading Darius sacrifice his love for the code of strength in Noxus, reminded me of a conversation with Kreia about TRUE strength.
The moment at the end of the comic when Darius did nothing in response to his lovers death brought the conversation to mind.
Raw strength is nothing compared to the power of ones will.
All that strength and anger, held in check, restrained by his beliefs, his doubt
Everyone is made up of events in their past, and it forms walls around one's spirit, or breaks such walls down. The mind makes some powerless... and gives strength to others.
To believe in an ideal, is to be willing to betray it.
To surrender yourself...to make yourself a slave to a teaching or belief, that makes it so that the belief will always rule you
