How do you all feel about some of the unusually surprising Skin choices for Champions?

skins aren't supposed to make sense
I mean... What other skin were they going to give Qiyana? She's coming out during the Arcade event, so she was going to have a release skin tied into that, like Neeko, Sylas, and Yuumi.
Battle Boss Yasuo is, as I've said many times, just Neon Sephiroth. I guarantee you they made that skin because of the hype for the FF VII remake. They may not want to admit it, but that's my theory and I'm sticking to it, especially since Riven has an Arcade skin(she is, in this case, Cloud).
Dunkmaster Ivern should not be called Dunkmaster Ivern, because as we've already established, he doesn't dunk. As for why, we'll probably never know why. I personally like it because it reminds me of my childhood(Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends), but I by no means really agree with the choice here. This would've been a nice skin to get eventually, but I think something else should have been done for Ivern first.
I forgot Praetorian Graves existed. If that doesn't say something, I don't know what does.
Count Kledula is a cute, humorous skin that I think is fitting for Kled. He's definitely the "get off my fucking lawn" type, and chasing those damn trick-or-treaters off his property why riding a giant vampire bat is probably the best thing I'll see for a while. However, as was the case with Dunkmaster Ivern, I think this skin came at the wrong time. It would have been nice to get eventually, but his fans and others were just expecting something... Different. Something more.
Dark Star Karma is an odd choice, but a fitting one. Lord Apex took the time to think about the part every Dark Star plays in the universe, and Karma represents, if I'm remembering correctly, the stagnant nature of a black hole. She erases, sure, but afterwards, she sits, and meditates in the silence that she created. She doesn't seem as hungry as the others, constantly devouring and destroying. No, she takes her time.
They're fine but idk why they don't take those open skin slots and instead go for the easy, low-hanging fruit. Battle Boss Vel'Koz (or he could be another Final Boss, or "Secret Boss", or whatever), Dark Star Aurelion Sol, Dunkmaster Jarvan IV/Poppy/several champions, they made a dog skin line and didn't include Nasus or Warwick, or continue the Worldbreaker skinline with Rammus (I'm biased) and even Mordekaiser now.
Darkstar Karma - Fine, not all champs who get the skin line should be dark and edgy characters. Battle Boss Yasuo - This one really is for the money, they'll make it too. Sad as it could have gone to a more fitting champ. Battle Boss Qiyana - She's a bitch, so kinda fits. Dunkmaster Ivern - Fine, it's fun and silly, but then so is he, should have been called Point Guard. Praetorian Graves - Superb, the theme is great, removing the voice lines too, genius move. Autonimous unstoppable killing robot armies? What's not to love? Count Kledula - Not really sure it's unusual. It's a halloween event and he's dressed as a bad riding a bigger bat, fits him.
