Shurima's sudden rise and impact upon the world? (Speculation)

Warning: I tried to be a little funny in this because it was late and I needed to motivate myself to write out my thoughts. I'm not a funny person, you have been warned.

Let's take a look at the map of Valoran. The Shuriman desert is right under Mount Gargantuan/Targon. If I remember correctly, Shurima was considered the gem of the desert, with a vast empire. Then it fell, lost to the desert.

Azir: RISE!

In under a night, the capital rises out of the desert. Out of nowhere this ancient city has risen in a barren wasteland. Azir has brought back his city, but he needs people. All he has is Sivir and Nasus with him, three people can't occupy a city alone.

Azir: So...I'm gonna need some great, great, gran- Sivir: No.

So how is Azir going to do this? As good a person he is, Azir has a mindset that's about one thousand years in the past. So the most logical thing is to try and reclaim shuriman territory, bringing order back to the desert. With one sand soldier at a time. Now the empire could have connected to far off areas, but one area it has most likely connected to is mount Targon. Not only is it the closest faction, it also has the common connection of sun imagery. The Solari could have originated in Shurima, or after its fall. First stop, Mt. Targon.

Azir: Subjects! Your emperor has returned! Let all be... Ground shatters before Azir as someone crashes before him. Pantheon: We submit to no one! Azir: Huh...so that's modern armor design. Such decline in this modern age.

Now let's focus a bit with Mt.Targon, specifically the other religious power: The Lunari. We know that Diana found some ancient tomb with the Lunari gear, so they had a temple in Mount Targon. We know Nami needs a moonstone for her people, so it's connected to the Lunari in some way.

Look at the map again. Mt.Targon is no where NEAR the ocean or any large body of water. So what does that tell us? The Lunari must of had multiple bases throughout Valoran. So the orginazation must have been large, but what caused them to be defeated by the Solari, who were only in Mt.Targon as far as we know?

Perhaps this is because the Lunari were not at full strength when they fought the Solari. Perhaps they had been weakened by a previous event, like say the creation of the shadow isles and the fall of the ruined king. There have been Theories that Hecarim has some connection to the Lunari due to his crescent shaped glaive and similar shaped blade on his helm. If so, then it's possible that the Lunari were connected to the Ruined King in some way. No one knows who Hecarim betrayed (since Kalista is hunting him), so perhaps he betrayed the entire Lunari organization?

Azir: Can we get back on topic here? The title is about Shurima, not about some failure of a king.

Right, sorry.

Anyway, whatever Azir does still doesn't account for how the rest of the world reacts to the sudden appearance of Shurima. Specifically Demacia and Noxus.

Garen: DEMACIA! ...really? Garen: It's in my contract. Azir: Get out.

Anyway. A new power in the world causes a new dilemma for these two superpowers. They cannot bring armies into the desert without gaining a new enemy. This calls for a different battlefield, politics. Swain: You rang? Can you people stop interrupting?! Anyway, Noxus would most likely send Swain as an ambassador, because Cassiopeia kinda has a history with Sivir (not a fun one either) and I can't think of just a normal ambassador. It's more likely they would send someone that's not a champion, but it's more fun this way (birds).

Now De...the city of gold and justice would send in Poppy, but I believe they'd also send in Quinn to scout the area in case something goes wrong.

This could go in three ways. -Swain gets Shurima as an ally Swain: Birds are awesome. Azir: Totally.

-Poppy is somehow a good ambassador (or Valor does the talking). Azir: I like your armor. Poppy: Made it myself.

-Or they both mess up. Azir: You know...I think I've had enough of these "kingdoms"

Option 3 is the most likely in my mind. I can't see Azir siding with either Noxus or Dem...the other city. While he might not go on the offensive, he makes shurima a powerful presence in this war. No longer is it a battle between two powers, in fact it never was with Noxus's invasion of Ionia and the civil war of the Freljord.

Welcome to the second sixth Rune Wars.

Aatrox: I brought popcorn.

Serious note: I do think that Shurima's presence, especially how sudden it was, is going to have a massive effect on the current war between Noxus and Demacia. And I beleive there is a connection between the Sun disks and the Solari, even if it's only a superficial connection. Course I don't know how old those stained glass windows of their ancestors are.

Riot also might need a new map of Valoran with their new lore. Because even in their old lore there was some problems. Namely that Mt. Targon is not near a large body of water to allow the trading of Moonstones to mermaids.

Actually Azirs lore mentions that sivir left already after he healed her,so he is currently all alone. He is probably going to wander around shurima claiming the different cities there as his and bringing people to the capital.

I guess that since Sivir isn't around him anymore,Cassiopeia might trick him into an "alliance",cause she has these quotes as taunts for an enemy azir: "Azir, I intend to prove a powerful ally." "Our interests align, Azir. Let us pursue them together."

Immediately seeing that picture of Shurima.... At first glance... It looks like Teemo's head.
