So we've been told in lore why she looks that way.
But why is that the case in the first place??
People were asking for an older female for years.
But when we get her she looks young and isn't old as a result.
What was the point? ~~Or was it just 'Giving the fans what they want' ? ~~
While I would have preferred it if she looked a bit older I suggest the reason was to make her look more powerful.
Looking old always conveys a feeling of physical weakness(unless you are going for the badass-grandpa/-ma type of character,but that wouldn't fit Camille) and that wouldn't have fit with Camille(not to mention that smooth skin fits the personality of someone so focused on "perfection").
That being said I'm pretty sure that the idea of "sex sells" was also one of the reasons why they made her that way.
...because the hextech heart SLOWS her aging.
She was augmented in probably her 30s, and the heart slows her aging dramatically. So she is pretty ambiguous. Looks a good 50 years younger than she is but still has gray hair.
Probably they never wanted to make a old lady jumping killing with blades for legs but as time went on in production and the writers stepped in they decided Camille should look the way she looks today. Because it would be super weird if we got an 80 looking granny that barely would exist jump flip kill with blades for legs..That design would look super strange...Not everything has a deeper meaning while designing...
She has a really ugly in game model
Camille's young appearance is probably because she bathes in the blood of her enemies???? She has blade legs and her ult is an isolation cage, it just makes sense that she's like a thousand years old and takes blood baths daily.
