Which Region Are You Ready to See Develop Further?

We have seen a lot of growth with a plethora of regions and, frankly, I want more... I absolutely love what I see with Demacia and the only person that appears to be left out is (correct me if I'm wrong) Shyvana. Further progress has been sighted with Frejlord and with the Volibear re-work just around the corner we can all expect more. (Don't forget that the Shadow Isles is going to be elaborated on too pretty soon as well.)

Even before these updates, there were regions still moving forward. I wanna hear it from you guys. Are you ready to see another region move further (Bilgewater, Noxus, Ionia, etc.) or are you looking for a little more substance in other regions that could use a little more love (Ixtal, Bandle, Shurima, etc.)

If you don't mind, I'd also like to read why you picked the choice you did. Thanks!

It would be nice to have actual information about Bandle City itself.

Because right now we only know that "some yordles live there and they use weird random portals to enter"

Ixtal obviously needs more development, I'm not sure why the first champion of that region they decided to release only talks about herself.

Bandle City proper needs something. We have a decent idea of yordle personality traits (becoming obsessed with the first thing they see when they enter the real world to a fault) but I feel like we need some explanation on the city itself.

Shadow Isles hasn't advanced whatsoever since Yorick was reworked in 2016 besides an admittedly amazing short story earlier this year. With Mordekaiser moved out of the region it arguably has less going for it than before this year, although the short story explaining how undeath actually works is pretty cool.

As much as I think Ixtal is the single most underdeveloped region, Bandle City update has been a long time coming. I'm ready to learn more about these magical furry hamster people and what their city is like. Tell me they subsist mainly a diet of cupcakes and sweets PLEASE tell me its true!!

I think we need at least 2 Ixtal champions, or a Kumungu champion, so that we can start to consider the South-East a real region. I would like to see a War Elephant Fortress champion from the jungle or some nearby place south of the Shuriman desert.

We could also get a sea-faring champion connected to Ixtal who is from a small group of secretive tradesmen who are allowed to do business with Ixtal because they are very discrete, keeping Ixtal a secret in order to monopolize trade and not disseminating destabilizing information about the outside world to Ixtal natives. They could be collectors of knowledge and rare artifacts, particularly relics of ancient Shurima and pre-void Icathia. Their origins could be as a diverse mix of nomads who eventually took to the sea after the fall of Shurima and Icathia, and absorbed other likeminded people during their wandering travels. They could be loosely based on Phoenicians/Canaanites in the style of their boats, writing, etc. They could have a few small colonies spread out along the coastlines as hidden cities, and a few colonized minor islands. They could wear masks and robes to protect their identities and protect them from the harsh sun during their sea voyages or ventures through the desert or into the south. In their lore, some of them could be stalking Ezreal in order to collect his gauntlet. They could attempt to recruit Ezreal at first, but then try to take the gauntlet by force when he refuses them. I feel like we could use some more villains, though they wouldn't necessarily be evil (we wouldn't know their motivations for collecting). They can be self-serving but not brutish in their methods of obtaining what they want. I would imagine they might be mainly interested in preserving and learning from what they collect, but that doesn't need to be explained in the story. Others should be suspicious of them and assume sinister motives of them due to their secrecy. According to the lore, some people should accuse them of not being human beneath their masks.

Always hungry for this juicy lore from Piltover/Zaun.

Bandle City. We basically don't know what the heck Yordles are anymore so a Bandle City update will hopefully shed some light on this....

Ionia ( love it) , Shadow Isle, Ixtal, the Realm of the Aspects and Celestial Entities

Icathia should be made a region :(

Bilgewater. Since Pyke, there has been no development (not that Pyke added anything new other than the sunken city into Bilgewater's lore) and there is just too many champions that have had no update. Gangplank Graves Illaoi MissFortune the titan named Nautilus TahmKench TwistedFate. Where are they? What are they doing now? What about Gangplank vs Miss Fortune story? What happened to Twisted Fate and Graves? What does Nautilus have to do with the Sunken City? And the most important one, how has the Mist affected Bilgewater over the years? Many Questions, no Answers

S H U R I M A The last thing to have happened in Shurima that was told in a story was 5 years ago (in the timeline based on some calculations). We know nothing of what happened in those 5 years. We also know legit nothing about Nerimazeth as a city, or about Shurima's military (by Shurima's I mean Azir's) or Xerath's, or the equipment the soldiers/warriors/mercenaries from Shurima use.

I'm quite partial to Bilgewater. It is the origin of some of my favorite champs, and I love the art/design of it. The architecture is especially fantastic. Bilgewater definitely doesn't need the attention that other regions do right now, especially since the Bilgewater event and Butcher's Bridge ARAM weren't _too _terribly long ago, but I would always appreciate more Bilgewater content!

I kinda want Kumungu to get more attention, I know we just got a champion and some sort of national name for it but still. It just feels like we're getting so little lore from it.

Would it even matter which region becomes the 'focus' next? Like as much as there are various opinions on what people would like to have next, we're all going to go along with whatever outcome happens anyway. If Demacia or any other place got more and more lore, it's still that good world-building and lore progression we're all hungry for.

The vast majority probably neutral over what ends up coming out next or even continues to come out. Which is a much better mindset than suddenly getting upset because your biased favourite hasn't had the limelight over a year or two.

I voted for Piltover but would love Bandle City too. As long as they don't make Yordles manifestations of the regions their are in (or not their own characters and only exist because of their characters), if anything they should influence those regions not the other way around.
