Everything About Talon And Talon's True Potential As A Champion In League
Finally finished it guys, I hope you like it. I'm sure I made a lot of mistakes and some parts don't make sense, please write them to me. I'm not a writer and my finals are coming so I want to put this out before that happens and I have to work for them. Have a great read! I hope this answers all your questions, but please ask if you have any! I want this to cover everything.
I wrote and thought about this because I am bored of waiting for Talon's and DuCouteau's lore update so I thought about it logically and tried to make something that everyone can find realistic.
The beginning(8)
At the age of 8 he opens hs eyes to a new life he knows nothing of yet. He looks around and sees people wandering and minding their business. Where was this place? How did he got here? Who was he anyway? The flood of questions stopped with one sound just to start shortly after. His stomach grumbled, he was hungry. How was he gonna get food, how did he feed himself before? His eye couldn't hold back any longer and he started crying. He cried out for help, a hand to pick him up and guide or comfort him.
But nobody came.
Everyone was living their usual lives, minding their business. Little our boy knew, but he was in Noxus and only the strong survived in Noxus. If he wanted to survive, he had to get up and do it himself. He had to prove he was strong. A few days passed, Talon was too hungry. He had to do something. He got up and asked the other kids like him for food. They told him to just take some from the bazaar like them. Talon did as they said but he was caught by the merchant and was beating slight for being a thief. Talon could hear the laughter of the kids. He decided to watch them instead and act like they do, instead of how they say. When they were trying to take food some of them were distracting the merchant and the others were grabbing as much as they can. Talon was alone so he had to think fast. He rushed in and took adventage of the situation. He couldn't be more happy when he ate what he stole, he was extremely hungry. This was the first time Talon stole something, and it would be the way for Talon to survive in the streets. But he knew he couldn't do this everytime, he had to think some way for him to get some food without relaying random events. So with getting caught, with observating, with learning and not giving up Talon began to live in the streets of Noxus. He was fast, he was small. He was patient. He knew to watch and learn. This was all he needed, for now at least...

Talon travels a lot within Noxus, going from one city to another when he gets bored of one or it becomes a requirement. Maybe the guards started noticing him, the city becoming more dangerous for him as the time passes. You get the idea. I'd say he traveled with traveling merchants, though merchants didn't know he was with them. Talon didn't have any heavy things with him usually so I'd say he loved to move from one city to another. See different things, taste different foods and interact with people from different cultures(Which is mostly fighting and thieving). Because he ate usually what he found, any food is fine with him. Eating different things adds some joy to it, and its definetely better than the trash he ate at streets. Travel things leads Talon to be comfortable about the assassinations in other continents, he likes seeing different places.
-
Talon is not the sleepy type, he usually stays awawke late at night. He also likes to perform at after sun sets too. It's easier to work in dark. He sleeps at rooftops after he is 10, streets are too cold and some rooftops have walls that prevent the cold winds. Because there was no electiricity sky should be open as day at night. With stars, galaxies, any space objects and the moon. Talon was always suprised and aroused about the beauties of the night. Everything seemed a little bit better in the soft blueness of the moon. The only time his miserable life was enjoyable, that moment every day... The peace and quiet, the perfect beautiful sky. There was nothing worth looking with joy at the very bottom, he had no choice but to look at the things above...
#Meeting with Kavyn(9)
Talon goes to another city as usual, tries to survive there. There is also another person just like him that seems alone. After some time they both notice they are alone themselves so decide to work together since working together makes everything easier. They work together for a while, doing everything together. While Talon only steals when it's neccesary, Kavyn is more greedy. He steals at every chance. Talon is happy because life is much easier and enjoyable with a friend. Without anyone to talk days are boring and maddening. Talon trusts Kavyn, Kavyn trusts Talon. They easily live without getting caught. But one day everything changes. Kavyn, being the greedy person he is steals everything and leaves when Talon is sleeping. Kavyn doesn't do this because he is evil. Unlike Talon Kavyn was already in a group before and they did the same to him, so he was trying to do the same to Talon. Talon wakes up, notices everything and Kavyn are gone. He gets really angry and tries to find Kavyn. With some luck and with the help of skills he learned in a small time Talon find Kavyn and a fight begins. Normally they would fight and winner would get everything leaving the other with nothing. But sadly it won't be like that. They fight, Talon wins that small thing that can be hardly called as fight. Kavyn says enough, just take everything and leave me alone. This is the turning point in Talon's life. Talon, still angry, takes out the only thing Kavyn forgot to steal. A knife they use to kill small animals and cut things. He loses control, thoughts begin to flow in his mind. What was Kavyn good for? What difference were there between him and those worthless rats in the streets? If humans hunt everything else who hunts the humans? Not even trying to find answers to these questions Talon kills Kavyn as he screams and struggles. When Talon calmns down and realizes what he had done it was too late. By the age of 9 he already killed. Kavyn was the first human to die by his blade, but he was not the last for sure.
#The endless training begins(10-12)
Talon becomes more aggressive and wild after he kills Kavyn. He swears to trust no one but himself. Talon knows he is not as strong as in the means of raw strength so practices throwing blades, first on lifeless targets, then at targets like rats and birds. He goes into skirmishes in any opportunity he find to make himself thougher and stronger. Talon gets bored a lot too of course, fighting is the way to spend time or trying to fill his belly by thieving. Talon doesn't kill any humans after he kills Kavyn for a long time. He is still a kid and tries to forget everything about it. He is still in trauma and haves nightmares. He uses this time period to get better at combat. Uses his knife against humans only to threaten when he senses danger. The other kids can use knife as a weapon but none of them killed anyone. Talon has that look on his face that makes it clear he is dangerous and different from them.
-
Talon is paranoid, rightfully so because of the trauma after he kills Kavyn and even more after people try to assasinate him. Because of this even wandering when he is completely casual there are 5-6 throwing blades plus a dagger with him. And because Talon is known for his armblade and hood walking casually is like a disguise for him, to some level.
-
Also Talon fears death. He doesn't want to admit it but after he kills Kavyn he develops a fear of death. To be cold as night and still as stone. The thought itself gives Talon shivers. He believes Kindred, and fears them.
#The Noxus Ionia War and its effects(12-13)
After Talon gets out of his trauma, he is sadly acknowledges he has to kill. Also important note: Noxus Ionia War began 12 years ago, when Talon was at this age. Life was hard because it was a big war. Noxus was trying to invade a whole continent. For children like him finding food became a problem, he knew he had to kill again, and it was also good as a training for him. He kills people that try to stop him without thinking. Talon really becomes an animal around here. He avoids contact unless he has to kill, doesn't care about anything. These time are also the start of puberty and Talon only gets more angry. For 1-1.5 years he kills, pillages, threatens... Everything you can think of. Just to survive and press forward. Talon is the scum of earth around here, he is like a bandit but he still doesn't get cocky or greedy because even if he is kinda mad around here there is still some logic inside him. He knows there is always a fall after a good spring. A cold winter after a warm summer. He has seen many people meet their end because they were greedy, they didn't know when to stop. He has seen many cocky opponents, usually on his opposing side that underrastimated their opponent. They were all dead now. They sought fame and glory, richness and property. Talon's only goal was always just to get stronger and survive. If it was surviving just today Talon would've never killed, he would never train himself. But he knew he had to think tomorrow too. It should all be fine now, but there would be challenges ahead. Talon worked to see the stars at night everyday. A full belly and a good place to sleep was everything he would ask for, always. Talon takes Assassin Guilds' attention in those years. They are suprised because usually people try to join them but this boy seemed to not mind them, so they used their people across Noxus to keep the track of this boy.
#Challenge with a twist(13-14)
Things have been going on too stale for a while. Talon was feeling like he couldn't improve at street fights anymore, also he disregarded his thieving part for a long time. If he wanted to make progress he needed something else, a challenge. He wanted to improve his hiding, stealth skills. So he decided to enter a noble house in the place he was staying in those times. He planned a lot, possible ways, what he should do at certain situations etc. After that the day has come. At the first day he played it safe and didn't move much. He tried to make a map in his head, though the building was very big. When he thought he seen enough he left to return the next day. Second day he moved a little bit faster because he began to be familiar with the place, he further planned the place. At the third day he was mostly moving freely. He wanted to slowly climb inside too, outside was not enough for him. But to his suprise he found the noble's room. He calmed himself and tried to think quickly but as he looked to the man/woman those same thoughts started to came to his mind. He didn't wanted to accept but he was not just here to play hide and seek. This man was responsible for a lot of things, as of Talon heard. Greedy people, never thinking anyone else but themselves. They were living here easily while the other people starved. It was like the time he killed Kavyn, he was losing control. What was this man/woman good for? What would change in the world if he was no more? Wouldn't it be for the better? As Talon slowly closed in and pulled the knife brought with himself, trying to think clearly, he mind became clear again by the sound he heard. They were coming. Two... No at least four people. Talon didn't work as clearly as he thought. Without a second thought he quickly began to escape. Speed was his only friend right now. He had no suitable weapons to fight against armored guards so he had to avoid combat and dodge everything. He ran with his life and got out with minimal wounds, only small cuts. The noble was of course furious and made quite a fuss. And the interested people listened it, that boy was there in current times, he was not seen moving to another city... This was his work. It was time to take Talon into their ranks.
And so began the assassination attempts.
#The Assassin Guilds(14-17)
- Talon is not his name, it was given to him by the Assassin Guilds as a codename, like how he was an assassin before he knew. He didn't choose this name, this fate. He didn't need a name."Where did that kid go" "Come here you little brat" "Catch that boy!". He didn't care so he moved on. He was Talon now. They were calling him like that at least.
The first group to propose Talon to join the guild was extremely easy. Talon simply said yes, and stabbed them in the back when they last suspected it. After that it only became harder. After all of them sent their invitation and get rejected by Talon one by one, it was no longer an issue about who would take this boy into their ranks. It was a race to who would kill him first. Talon realizing and investigating as always knew what was going on over all and became even more paranoid, he had to move a lot more. He had to erase his tracks and needed to be more careful. This was the best opportunity for him to improve himself. He couldn't join them unless he knew they were stronger than him. He had to see what they could offer. But the ones they send were always finding his track later than he anticipated. And when it came to the combat they were not equal of him too. They were worthless. Talon made the right choice by not joining them. But it was giving Talon a challenge in the means of hiding and moving, also his combat training was coming to him. What was not to like? After this goes on 2.5 years, Talon has killed more than 50 of the assassin's that sent after him. He also killed the spies that reported his place to their superiors. Furious finally guilds sent a skilled, high ranked assassin after him. Talon noticed something was off. They should've sent more people by now. There were no spies or assassins... or he wasn't noticing them. Talon already noticed it too late but he was indeed being followed. He had to think quickly. But as his assassin was following him, Talon decided to play the unsuspecting boy and pretended he didn't notice him. Talon could sense the cockiness rising from his opponent. He was probably saying to himself how could Talon kill all those people, survive this long. He was underestimating him more with any passing second. Talon waited until came closer and closer and with a quick turn he killed his opponent before he could realize his mistake, but this work was not clear. He killed him in all the people and had to disappear quickly. This would anger the guilds even more. Why wasn't this brat dying? But they had their chance and they failed, now it was another man's turn. That man being none other than General DuCouteau himself.
#How did General caught and took Talon?
After Katarina failed him General was looking for someone special to train, he didn't have enough time and patience anymore. He was not impressed with his own pupils he had at the time. None of them could ever reach Katarina's level even if they worked until the end of their lives. It has been one year since Katarina failed him, General was already looking for people to replace her. He couldn't fail now. He found two people that could've been the right person, but they lacked what General wanted. Assassin guilds knew General's purpose and was proposing him people always but he knew it wouldn't come from there too. After some small research he found this boy called "Talon", despite the attemps to make him join or kill were in vain. He was still going rogue. He wanted to go after this kid, but he needed something to happen, he didn't want to chase another dead end yet again. When one day Talon killed a skilled assassin sent after him General finally decided to find Talon. Talon already changed his place and was nowhere to be found. This was General's first appriciation, but Talon of course couldn't escape from General. General found his trail and located his exact location and started following him. It was not long before Talon noticed and tried to lose him, they boy was really good at observation. This was General's second apprication, but again of course he couldn't escape from General again. Then Talon gone to a empty side street and ambushed the suspecting General there. He first threw some knives and immideatly jumped to attack with his armblade. General both dodged the blades and blocked Talon's attack. After the failed attack Talon got back and prepared himself for the combat. Not trying to fight fair was General's third appriciation. General was testing Talon to see what he can do, after some close combat he appriciated Talon for the fourth time. For someone that never been in any kind of assassin thief or fight guild kid was holding his ground fairly well. He was indeed talented. At this point General could've stopped it but he needed to see one more thing. One more crucial thing. As the fight continued Talon was injured more and more while General was blocking his attacks easily. General noticed something was off with Talon's attacks, they had more impact than they should have, it was nothing he couldn't handle but it caught General's attention. Even the blades Talon threw wasn't going like how they should be going. This boy had a power but he wasn't even realizing it. Eventually General defeated Talon. The power and skill difference was too high. As Talon kneeled General finally spoke:
General: You are defeated, injured. Why aren't you begging for me to stop? Do you want to die here kid?
Talon: Beg? Beg for your mercy? Just like how they cried out before they died? If someone can't even fight for their own life to the end they don't deserve to live! I won't die like those worthless rats!
This was the thing General was looking for. The independence, the determination to live. Talon can do anything to see sun rise one more day. In that momemnt General laid his weapon down and proposed Talon the choice for his life
General: Then accept my offer, join me. I'll train you to be the perfect assassin. Refuse and I'll throw throw you in to the gutter, to be with the people you killed.
Shocked by the thought of the last thing General said, accepted his offer. Talon would learn more than being the perfect assassin, he would learn to be human.
#Life at the House DuCouteau(17-20)
Talon's first times at the mansion was tough. He had no idea about the house life, he was a street boy. He was filthy, rude, uneducated etc. He didn't belong there. General brought him there accepting this fact, we don't know when but Mama DuCouteau decides to educate him and teach him after a while. Katarina griefs about this boy being his replacement but he doesn't want to upset his father even more or bring shame to their family name. Cassiopeia is the one who shows Talon he doesn't belong here probably. Cass is always the most noble of the family, the most proud so he sees Talon as a disgrace. Talon knows he doesn't belong there too and can't really sleep at his given room so he climbed to one of the straight part of the roof and slept there.
General researched Talon's powers and thought him about it without telling its origins. No matter how much Talon worked for it he couldn't use it reliably. It was mostly out of his control. It seems he used it out of his will when he was fighting General. General knew there was something else he was missing so he didn't push too much about it. Talon had to learn it himself.
This life was too different. He didn't have to think about surviving, he just had to learn everything thought to him quickly. Luckily he was a quick learner. As time passed Talon learned respect, kindness, humanity from DuCouteau's. His personality changed to it's original form over time. The reason why Talon's personality changed so much in so little time as opposed to his personality in the streets, is the way he was treated. In all of his life he was treated like an animal by other people. He was not seen as a human, never. But Talon was mostly acting like one because he was listening to his instincts and he had no one to communicate with. But no matter what happens some things in humans never change. For Talon this was the innocent child he was before all these began to happen. At DuCouteau house he was getting treated respectfully by the workers and maids of the house. General had his own way, he was treating Talon harshly but Talon was noticing he cared for him. But the most impactful thing was the education he saw. Mama DuCouteau was teaching him everything important, how to be human. As time passed he slowly began to remember how he was at the start. It was all because he was getting treated like human. He was a person. He was not an animal.
We don't know if it was a love or logic marriage they did with each other but Cassiopeia being like her mother and Kat being like her father, I can say both favor one of their children more than the other or they simply shared their children. Mama and Papa DuCouteau wanted their children to be important for Noxus. We don't know if Mama was successful but General DuCouteau was not. Katarina failed him in his eyes. So when General took Talon, they both worked together to teach and educate him. General thought him about the combat, hiding, being asssassin while Mama DuCouteau thought him about the politics, the noble houses everything in general. He couldn't have said it got easier because Mama DuCouteau and General DuCouteau were teaching, educating him non-stop. Talon didn't even know how to read. He had no knowledge. Because he learned everything himself there were a lot of errors in his moves. It was hard but it was also everything Talon could've want.
He didn't really cared about the lives he took before the General DuCouteau took him. As he was educated he slowly began to realize and feel the weight of the things he had done. He was a thief and a murderer, he stole to survive but he could've survived without killing. This seemed like a perfect time to stop this assassin work, to become normal. There were always times even in his childhood Talon looked at normal people and thought becoming like them, but he always got rid of the thought quickly. They were the ones that didn't help him, they were the ones that left him die in the streets... But there was also the people tried to help, just to be stopped by those others. These thoughts troubled him a lot, and because he couldn't find an answer he just got rid of the thought after sometime. And he had a debt to pay to him. If it weren't for General DuCouteau he would've died on those streets one day, there is always a bigger fish. They took him, they fed him, they gave him a family. He had a place to sleep, somewhere he was accepted. If Talon turned his back on them how wouldn't be any different than Kavyn.
Katarina is 3 years and Cassiopeia is 2 years older than Talon. Katarina did her first assassination attemp when she was 19, when Talon was 16. Talon of course learns he is Katarina's replacement in time. I really don't know how Katarina would react to him but Talon has no intention to replace Katarina. He saw how Katarina fights and knows she is a great fighter/assassin. Talon respects her like how he respects General DuCouteau. Personally I'd love to see Katarina and Talon become friends or be in a brother-sister relationship. Their area of interest is same, they live in the same house it's impossible for them to avoid each other. They would be great sparring partners.
#In the service of DuCouteau and the search of himself(20-24)
-
Talon doesn't have a reason to keep on fighting. If they were asked why are still try to live on Kat would say glory of the Noxus of course. Katarina is a Noxian to the bone and is ready to do everything for it. But Talon only tried to survive without goal all these years. Every day was his last day for Talon. After General took him it became serving them. He thought about what he would do if he was to be free. He was un-educated and really aggressive when he was a child but now? Maybe he could leave all of this and live a normal life. But as we see Talon can't take this step when General dissappears. He thinks it as a betrayel to him if he does. He has to pay the debt back, no matter the cost.
-
He was soft at first. As he faces the harshness of life and Noxus it becomes bitter. After he kills Kavyn his personality mostly breaks apart. He becomes angry and furious mostly. After 12 he strikes without mercy, without thinking anything but himself. After assassinations begin he also becomes extremely paranoid. At the time he is taken to the House DuCouteau he is aloof, rude, thoughtless, hostile and cruel. There is really not much that can be said as positive. After his time in the DuCouteau manor he becomes aware of his actions and mistake and regrets the things he had done, but also knows he has to continue killing but swears to not kill people without a reason. He always tries the stealth option more than all in mode. He feels the weight of every life he took behind him. Back than he was thoughtless, he killed without reason. Now he sees every people he doesn't kill as a step towards something he wants to acquire. Otherwise how could he look to the skies just like how he did when he was pure? It was the same stars, it was the same moon but now they were lighting his path to his victim. Talon moved a lot better in the night. Talon just uses his skills to prevent bloodshed. He chooses one life over many, so he works as an assassin to choose the lesser evil.
-
There should be meeting from time to time for the high command. Talon goes with General DuCouteau to act as a bodyguard to him, learn a thing or two. One day in these meetings Swain gives an example of Darius and Talon showing Noxus doesn't need nobles to go forward. Noxus itself creates strong people for the future. Talon opposes Swain because he is not happy about the things he had done and wishes no one goes through something like it. A good conversation can be made but I'm not skilled enough to write it. But this is one of the few times Talon talks directly to Swain. As with Darius, I'd be suprised if he talked to Talon aside from these meetings. Darius probably thinks Talon is weak because of the way he opposed Swain.
Under the service of DuCouteau Talon goes to many continents and performs many assassinations. He always returns successful, as i said earlier Talon loves to travel to other continents, see their cultures and eat different foods. On one of his early missions he goes to Ionia and everything changes. Because Irelia and Talon uses the same power, but in very different ways. We know nothing about Talon's life before he was 8, but he was part Ionian. Because of this he has access to magic, but is a lot weaker because his connection is severed and doesn't have any proper training. Alright let's start from the beginning.
Irelia, Xayah and Rakan all talk about music and dancing. They are born in the first lands, they are Ionian. They are connected to the spirit realm, and use it's power. And what does the ones that use the essence of the land have in common? They love to dance, they hear the music!
Irelia: "Can you not hear the music? I shall enjoy watching you trip."
Rakan: "How can humans not hear the magic?" Xayah: "They're too busy building things." Rakan: "Why?" Xayah: "Because... they're afraid."
"We are seen dancing and thought insane - by those who can't hear the music."
Rakan: "I look around these forests and I see freedom. I hear the music."
Rakan: "I do not wish to kill the mortals. I want them to hear the music."
Magic flows with their blood, just like how magic flows in the land. (A part from "Dreaming Pool" where our Vastaya friend uses her power to activate the crystal)
“Time for our distraction,” said Sirik. She closed her eyes and silenced her inner thoughts. In her mind’s eye, she saw the black crystal she’d secreted below the deck of the Noxian warship, and she reached out to it, fanning it to life.
She was no conjurer or soul-mage, but like many of her people, she could feel and subtly manipulate the magic of the land in minor, fairly insignificant ways. Hers was just a small, common gift, akin to that of the farmers of her village who spun a little magic into their crops. To outsiders this was shocking, but among her people, such simple gifts were not at all unusual, nor regarded as anything to be held in awe. It was like being able to whistle, or curl your tongue—some people could do it, others couldn’t.
The clearer and louder you hear it, the more connected you are. Dance makes it easier and stronger because it makes them go with the flow of magic coursing through The First Lands. And lastly, it is connected to the emotions you feel. Music and dance both awekens strong emotions within us, within them. But it doesn't have to be happy emotions, Irelia used her powers first by the anger she felt. And suprisingly Rakan is the who mentions music a lot, is a battle dancer and he shows his emotions a lot. He is one with the flow. These are the reasons why Irelia can easily control her blades but Talon can't even control them properly for a short period. Irelia has a better understanding of the land, learned how to dance and is completely Ionian. Talon on the other hand, doesn't know too much about Ionia, doesn't know and like dancing and half Ionian. Because his connection is severed, he still hears a music but it can hardly can be called as one. It's an annoying sound that haunts Talon. So in conclusion while Irelia can change the power at will at any second for how long she likes, Talon can use it in small periods and can't go long. Irelia is stable, Talon is unstable. If he didn't research a lot when he was at Ionia his powers would remain to be non-existant. But Talon learns to use it to a degree, as much as his half-blood allows. So Talon has to use it wisely, so lets get to that part.
##This is how Talon works, at the time General disappears at least.
Talon is the perfect middle between magic and technology. He uses both sides in synergy with the other. Talon always seeks to improve himself, to be better at what he is doing. Talon had to do something with his telekinesis powers, but it was too weak to be used in any significant way. Also as I said earlier you have to be connected to the object you will use the power on, at least something like that. So Talon researches, listens and thinks to put it to a use. Noxus may not be that great about technology but they have their eyes on Piltover and Hextech is not the only tech there. While Talon goes to Piltover one day maybe on duty maybe not, he decides to use his contacts to put his plan into use. He wants to make use of this tech and merge it with his abilities in some way. (Nitpicking part: The engineer he goes to can be Heimerdinger if you want to make champions interact with each other) He goes to the trusted and verified engineer, as i said he researches a lot, talks with him and says what he has in his mind. Talon can bring that famous Delverhold steel to be used in making of the tech. After some brain storm these ideas come, they change in 3-4 years and Talon uses some of his tech later than earlier but this is the current tech of Talon and how he uses it:
Talon's tech's purpose is to maximize his telekinesis' use. There is small pressure points in most of his tech for him to react quickly or use in smart ways.
Talon's armblade is now a fully metal, opens and closes at anytime Talon wants. In the previous one he had to hold it in his hand and couldn't use that hand until he dropped the armblade somewhere, also there is the fact that his hand can get tired and can't hold it at full force anymore. He uses his telekinesis to push some force into a certain point of the mechanism inside the armblade and armblade quickly expands/collapses into its intended form. He still uses it in his right hand.
Guess what? Talon uses wires too! Like armblade, he has another mechanism at his left hand. This mechanism gives Talon the throwing knives he wants at will and connect them to wires. There are blade all over at his left arm that waiting to be pulled by the mechanism. Wire is pretty durable and can't be cut or split so easily.
The knives that got thrown expand into their circular form when triggered. They are Talon's main weapons. Talon uses his telekinesis mostly on his knives in a lot of ways. He applies enough force to negate gravity, change their directions by small pushs, add a little power to them to make impact more powerful, make them stay afloat etc. whatever comes to your mind. But as I said Talon can't sustain continious efforts. He can also use them to climb as a grappling hook.
His cape... His cape is made out of a durable light metal. Yep. Completely. No cloth. It's full metal. There is a circular ring for his cape to move 360 degrees around him. Talon uses his blade cape with telekinesis to defend, attack when he is retreating or use them as extra threats when he is against a foe. He uses his telekinesis to prevent them from harming him and making any noice by touching the ground. If it is not overkill, there is also possibilities for his cape blades to expand and collapse too. They can be even made out of small blades! Possibilities are endless!
He also should have a functional mask. There is no reason for him not to have one. It can be a little prettier version of Dishonored's. I'm sure they have the technology. I mean, Master Yi has a 7 google'd one.
These are most of the Talon's main tech but he also uses his telekinesis out of his tech. He uses it to increase the impact of his attacks, mostly armblade, survive falls from big heights, dodge and move faster at a certain direction when nessesary(because its a force push, he can lose his balance) and even make him glide at air for a brief time.
#General Dissappears/The Future
We'll talk about possible futures from here.
-
We know Swain makes purges to remove the filth from the Noxian Military from the "At the Edge of the World" story. If General DuCouteau remained to this time this means he is not from Black Rose and he raised Katarina all by himself she cares about Noxus above anything else too. Mama DuCouteau on the other hand can be connected to Black Rose perfectly fine. Cass too seems to work for Black Rose after Shurima accident. So I think this can happen: With Mordekaiser rework we will see LeBlanc's true intentions. And knowing Riot LeBlanc will be a morally grey character too. Because she and Black Rose will have a good point it will be a perfect time to show a clash between two. Swain's Noxus and LeBlanc's Black Rose. DuCouteau family lives this too much, family is split into two. We don't know what happens but General dissappears, so of course Talon and Katarina will work together to find him.
-
If it falls to Talon wouldn't choose either side. Talon walks his own path. He doesn't like politics and not patriotic. So his short story can be about him killing a black rose member but also clearing out a raven of Swain's at the end.
-
Talon researches his past. He tries to find who was his parents, how did he end up in the streets of Noxus and became like this.
-
He can be used with Irelia to break Irelia's non-stop racism. It would progress both of their stories and characters.
#Some extra things
-
When Talon was made it's obvious he is an Assassin's Creed copy. So I added some Dishonored and Moon Knight to the mix. Assassin Creed still persists.
-
If he has a theme Talon's should reflect his grief and burden. His splash art should be at night again killing both a black rose member and a Swain Raven.
#Ingame
Alright if Talon would get a Ezreal type of rework, which is unlikely because of the Assassin Update this is how I think Talon should be in game. Keep in mind I'm not a designer or anything, so it's highly possible you'll find these absolutely disgusting.
##His new look:
- One metal mechanism at each arm, armblade at right, knife connecter at left.
- Weak cape blade is gone, it's full metal now.
- A metal elips above Talon's shoulder, the blade cape is connected to there so they move easily.
- Throwing knives at the chest that are not connected to wires to use in extreme situations or blade coming back is not needed.
- Two daggers at the hip area. Two at the feet area.
- A tool belt.
- And Talon should wear a mask, sorry boys but I think this is logically needed.
##Animations:
- He walks close to the ground to remain unseen like in game right now.
- Running animation is literally running.
- In combat is like he is in combat of course, not crab stance.
- At base animation a wall appears before him, he does a full backflip to the top of it. Moonlight comes down while Talon takes out his mask and look above eyes closed.
##Gameplay:
-
Passive: Competely same, but can consider cutting some damage to add % missing health. Only the trigger animation is now his melee Q animation(Stab) or current crit animation like how it is now. If passive has the crit animation then crits should have the melee Q animation.
-
Q: Ranged Q is the same. At melee instead of stabbing with his armblade Talon makes his blade cape come infront of him and cuts the enemy with it. Talon moves x units while this happens in any direction player chooses.(200-400)So Talon's blade cape does a 360 degree turn and Talon moves/dodges by a small amount (Maybe add the ranged Q to be available for 1-2 seconds with %95 reduced damage to the target). The reason why I wanted to give him a skill like this is to bring back the satisfaction of dodging with the old E with old Talon and make use of his cape in game.
-
W: Talon throws 3 knives that stop at the first champion hit, one enemy can be hit by only one at a time. This works like Kled Q, LeBlanc E. If they can't escape blades open in them, applying a small bleed.(Bleed can be overkill tbh, can be removed)The knives stay y seconds at their final location before Talon presses the skill again/time runs out, then blades open and return to Talon shredding everything in their path.
-
E: Completely same. Just thought about nerfing his Q range but giving E a passive that increases the range of Q by every skill point so Talon is not as helpless at true late game. Take anything you want, ofc i can be overloading his kit. Not everything here has to be in. Just writing it to give you a general idea.
-
R: So because in game forms should reflect champ by a bit... Talon can't be invisible guys. Any champion that has invisibility are either a demon(Shaco), a Void monster(Kha'zix, Kai'sa), the Satan(Teemo, what a good joke), god of mischief(LeBlanc), Neeko's invis is there to stop people from locating the real one instantly, Wukong creates a decoy(Which is a total steal from the forbidden kingdom) and Vayne because she is outdated too. So here is the real ult:
Talon throws 12 knives like in his W to form a ring, but this time a champ can be hit with more than one. Of course there is a damage reduction after umm... Let's say 3 blades. Talon doesn't gain invisibility, he gains damage reduction, % slow reduction and movement speed.(I hope it's not broken) Damage reduction is there because he uses his blade cape to protect himself. Slow and damage reduction at the same time can be broken, you are the judge. So after this if Talon doesn't exit the ring blades return to him moving 120 degrees, instead of directly coming to him. If Talon quits the ring, he drags the blades with him and does a AoE attack with his knives like Evelynn?
##Voice Lines
###Jokes
-
Unlimited blade works.
-
Longswords are the key.
-
Where does all these blades' come from? DuCouteau secret.
###Laughs
- If it's not gonna be too edgy I'd prefer Talon to not laugh and say some line instead. He can smile but doesn't really laugh like at all. Talon literally didn't laugh a single time in all of his childhood.
