She has a Taunt/Joke Animation where she eats a bowl of Ramen Noodles. [slayer-pantheon-rainbows]
everyone really hates noxus in this game, except noxians... hell even the darkin seem to target them first.
I like her new appearance except one thing. Her tattoos.
Could easily just be me, but the cloud tattoos on her right arm were always a trademark of Jinx' for me and I don't really like that they are doing the same thing with Akali now. :/
Yeah, her in-game model and all doesn't look so bad, looks pretty good so far actually. I was worried that her tattoo would look like some kinda fishnet on her character model for a second (cough cough Traditional Lee Sin cough cough).
But she desperately needs a better working posture. I mean. sure, running with a hunch and ninja can be concepts that go hand-in-hand, but she runs like a xenomorph and I think that's probably a bit extreme; thankfully you don't really see that from the top-down camera angle we have, I guess.

Not sure how she plays out, I am personally never too keen in the gameplay department whenever it's CertainlyT leading the charge, though.

Kudos to whomever made the art, I think you are really good at making splash art, but this is not Akali.
Akali had two kama's. Akali didn't wear a bikini and Akali sure as hell didn't bring a bag of some sorts around the back of her hips to the battlefield.
Again, I think the artwork looks good, just not good for Akali.

Ninja* I like they went with the toned look. It fits. I wonder if the took notes from Olympic runners/sprinter/marathoners/hurdle, ect.
Gosh I love everything about her. Her new body, her outfit (I love the new greens), her face, her eyes, her animations, her body language (!! rly important and overlooked aspect of a champ). She looks so freakin badass and pretty.
I haven't been this pleased with a female champ release in a long time. Is this what it feels like to be a normal boy playing this game? Cause if so, man im jelly. Haha. At least I have this!

I was very much hoping that we'd get a new cinematic teaser before this champion trailer was released but considering that they're going to release a ryze cinematic short this week (which will hopefully be as long as the Annie video if not longer) I'm ok with that Kudos to RiotEarthSlug and all those responsible for making this awesome champion trailer and it is as you hoped: a nice blend of story and gameplay and the ending especially LOL
Yeah, I (& pretty much everyone) figured that she would leave the Kinkou order with her update. It doesn't seem like she betrayed them or they cast her out (as far as this video show), she just leaves & go do her own thing. We'll find out the reasons later. My question is: will she still be an ally of the Kinkou or will she have reasons to turn on them? What about her relation to the Order of Shadows? Would she join them? According to the leaks, she's hunting Jhin apparently. I wonder how much that will effect her story.
Now to wait patiently for her skins' splash arts.
