PROJECT 2019 Login Theme feels... rushed?

I really don’t know if it’s just me or not but listening to the theme feels very rushed. The magic of PROJECT isn’t there for me. Listening to the other project themes, they have an idea conveyed behind it and felt like PROJECT.

In this theme, it just feels like they just threw in a bunch of riffs and synths, added Pyke’s theme for a bit of flavour and thought sure it’s good enough. I don’t really sense of story and emotion going on here. PROJECT 2019 has themes of memories and vengeance. They were thrown away by PROJECT, and now seeking a way to infiltrate and destroy project Corp. I just didn’t get any sort of that emotion from the song. Just seems like they threw everything together within a day without thought.

Taking a look back at PROJECT Ashe’s theme. It has a sense of heroism and rebellion, since she’s the leader of the G/NETIC rebels. The drum pad and the melody makes you feel hyped and energetic to rebel and rise.

PROJECT Yi’s theme has a sense of mysteriousness as well as fast pace, a perfect combo for the man himself. It goes from fast and energetic and smoothly transitions to mysterious with the choir like harmonies. PROJECT Overdrive delivers this sense of emotion as well, with the fight scenes and scenes of his past.

PROJECT Hunters 2017 has so much build up and created tension, hearing Jhin’s theme just before it drops into the ‘chorus’ part is just absolute perfect and fits the vibe of the characters quite well; hunters working to find their prey.

I know I’m just rambling on about the music, but it’s veerrry important to me. I loved the PROJECT series and the story behind them. I love what the music team has been putting out and I know that they can do a bit better than this.

There's several references in here, the most prominent being to Pyke and Warwick (listen to the beginning). I can hear some slight callbacks to Jinx and Akali as well. It's at least a little better-crafted than you give it credit for.

I love robots and techno stuff, so personally i love it. The beats are right up my alley. And since this is more about a resistance part of the project skinline, the more ambient noise rather than basic melody is pretty legit. but thats just me

It's...meh. Worst of the Project themes for sure. But you've got to be kidding me that all they do is repeat a loop clip from the cinematic instead of a real animation. How much budget did they cut? Or how much of their art department are they shafting to other things coming soon*TM?

This whole year is trash, hopefully the reason is the game they are working on. Otherwise...

There's just too much in it... and also they kinda gave up on logins since in a patch or two its all the login screen itself is going away.

I think the main reason is that you don't have a fitting visual that really tells you how to feel. Like how it'd sound off if a hammer made a slicing sound, the previous Project Themes had a certain visual that went with it. Ashe's gave you a ground up perspective, meaning you're looking up at her, like you would to a Leader. Jhin's was eerie and dangerous looking, lights flashing and the visuals going glitchy like something is clearly wrong. This theme just lacks a solid foundation visual to rest on, to match the mood of the theme.

they didn't do any real login theme for Sylas and Qiyana are you really that surprised?
