All the recent LoL ads and commercials have been absolute garbage.

No bumper ad (which is what they all are) is meant to give you a rundown of what the game is. Just get you excited for it.

It's not meant to sell you on the game, it's meant to make you go "lol holy fuck that's so dumb but also really cool" like any teenager would probably say at something so dumb but also a little cool. Then you go look up the game and (hopefully) play.

I just watched the Adult Swim one - and even though I play this game, I was confused. I can only imagine what a person who never saw the game would think.
It reminds me of those Mobile Advertisements where they use completely different footage. I would have thought this was an Anime fighting game.
I also heard some adds in a restaurant, when I heard the dude say "I haven't seem the sun in years!" I wanted to choke on my food and it was my mom's birthday celebration. [slayer-jinx-unamused]
They should take the example from Italian commissioned-to-youtubers ads.
