What's with all the shorten lores? First shurima, then the shadow isles? I just want to know why, because I would want to enjoy the story of each and every character riot creates. Not have something short and cheap. And is this going to happen to every champion?
Riot's mentioned this a few times over the last couple months. The shorter lore segments are meant to be client-only entries, while the longer form ones will be viewable on their website. The idea was that people only care about getting a summary of the champion when trying to figure out who to buy next, and if they really are interested in the champion they can visit the site to get a better look at their backstory.
Still a shite idea, but that's their reasoning.
