Do you think Riot will do more of these? I feel like it was pretty successful to revamp a character and give them a modern aesthetic while making them a bit more interesting and dynamic to play. Seemed to boost Morg's popularity too. Like aside from the big "changing an entire character" like the big, well-known VGUs do you think we're getting more of these tossed in along the way as surprises? There are a number of older champs that aren't bad by any means but could use a tad of a modernization. Particularly since Ez is like the poster boy of the game I could see it happening to champs like Ahri or Lux as well. Maybe Jarvan could get a bit of love

I doubt we'll get one soon, but if we do, my money is on Lux to get it. Her base skin is really low quality compared to her more recent skins, it doesn't even look like the same champ

I actually just asked and got an answer about this. They are possibly going to do more in the future, they're just focusing on the teir 1 VGUs right now instead.

I said that we don't currently have any in development, not that we will never do them anymore. We are just currently prioritizing Champions that also need gameplay updates, as there is more value in that at the moment. This isn't to say that we won't ever do things like that in the future if it's the right opportunity

I hope so, some of my favourites champions are old and I would love to see them updated. I even asked Bazerka on his lunch break thread, but he didn't know the answer unfortunately.

Amumu Annie Janna JarvanIV Lulu Olaf

I feel like these would be good choices for this kind of update. Make them look better with slight modification to skill that already works. Thogh Janna and Olaf could benefit from a complete VGU too. Also technically Annie already got one.

In the immediate future, the answer is no. For this year and a little into the next there isnt any scheduled VgU. Not sure if you knew this already but we're getting 3 new champs ~~by the end of the year~~ and then Fiddle + Voli reworks. Beyond that is completely unknown and I dont think the devs are ready to discuss or allude to anything about more reworks until after those releases.

I would see Viktor get a Ezreal tier rework for his ultimate ability which is underwhelming and not very "chaotic".
