Well, if I were Riot, after all the complaints about female same face, I would have made my damned best to make sure EVERYONE in the League has the same face because I don't discriminate.

Lets get an official Sylas is Kayns estranged father. Ignore the part where Sylas was locked up at a young age. Nothing else Riot says anymore makes sense anyways.
Very similar bit some noticeable differences (need to zoom in close to see the little differences):
- Sylas painting had to be rotated to line up with Kayne's painting (I did this myself in an art software)
- Syals has a wider chin
- Sylas has a wider cheekbone and higher up
- Sylas outer eye corner curves downwards whereas Kayne's eye corner curves upwards
- Sylas's iris is a lot smaller
- Sylas's smirk is smaller, the corner of the lips end sooner
- Sylas's eyes brows are more steeply angled and curves, Kayne's one is less steep and more straight
- Sylas's face is more concave

Unsurprising. Specific art styles in games result in a lot of champion's faces looking very similar.
Also there's only so many ways you can draw "evil grin at camera"
edit: so what they copied the facial structure? that's one tiny part of two radically different pieces of art.

I can nearly assure you that they dont have the same face. It´s been like this with Brig and Mercy from Overwatch where everyone complained because of a clip just like this and...surprise, surprise, 10$ for the first to name it: They dont. hahaha with the money Riot rakes in you'd think they'd put in more effort... I mean, i've noticed how similar some champs artwork is, like really similar, but this is just too much. Since you guys are saving so much time tracing, can you fit in an Anivia chroma?
So, just to let it be known, Elena 'Hellstern' Bespalova has done artwork for both Kayn AND Sylas. So if she did the splash arts, that would be why they look similar. Because it was the same artist.
Am I just dumb, or would a lot of work have to go into actually making the splashes interact like this? Obviously I don't know much about digital art and this could quite literally just be Rito being lazy, but if this was intentional, I feel like they need some credit where it's deserved.
