However the most thematically aligned with Ionia would be Karma, whose spiritual balanace embodies the nations ideals.

Except unlike Garen or Darius, she got nothing for it. Her color story has her living in a tent in a camp, battling away extremist assassins, and having untreated PTSD.
It's easy to answer the question "Who is the most Russian person?" but hard to answer the question "What is the most European person?". So I think "can not decide" is the most appropriate answer. At least I don't think Irelia is the most Ionian champion.
