Hi!

Since I am a young kid I am enjoying to listen to world music, soundtrack themes and in genereall orchestrial music. However, while I listended to some League of Legends themes, I noticed something.

I am not sure but don't you guys think the theme for Neeko, Rakan & Xayah does sound like they are inspired by the music from Christopher Tin or is it just me? Especially the theme for Neeko reminds me of Christopher Tin's work 'Mado Kada Mieru'.

I am not criticising the work, it is the opposite! I love the themes and I would love to hear more of these in the near future. It would be amazing to just be able to buy the FLAC/WAV files of the themes.

Best regards

I don't think you there's an inspiration especially from Mado Kada Mieru, it's just the same kind of song; a lot of instruments working together in a very harmonious way coupled with some vocals with or without lyrics. You can find the same type of composition with a lot of songs from Two Steps from Hell and such.

However I do agree that Neeko's and Xayah and Rakan's theme share a similar feeling when listening to both of them. The same kind of composition I talked about before but with a tiny wild twist, like a tribal song, with Neeko's theme being more wild. I like to think that Xayah and Rakan's theme is representative of either the Lhotlan tribe and/or the strong bond they have with magic while Neeko's theme is more representative of the Vastayashai'rei and/or their more primal bond with magic as described in Neeko's bio.

If you want, most of LoL's songs are on Soundcloud and may be available for download there but as I am not familiar with this website I might be wrong.
