Keeping in mind that every character's short term bio is updated, this means that the number of champions with updated bios is approximately 89/141, or about 63.5% complete. We know that Nunu has updated lore coming, so we can probably expect Freljord lore soon, and we also know that the lore team wants to release lore on Yordles. Assuming the most optimistic (as in every Yordle and Freljordan receives an update) we can boost this number up to 110/141, or about 78.5%.

We've come a long way, and we're more than halfway there. We now have a complete map of the world as well as a fully functioning site dedicated to lore exploration that has fleshed out this universe more than anybody ever expected. Kudos to the lore team for sticking through it all.

Lemme know if I missed anyone, I feel like I probably skipped someone accidentally.

I was gonna do this yesterday but had other work to do... Life works in strange ways!

Also you can add a section with 'no new bios but mentioned in someone elses story'. Like Anivia being Ornn's sibling, Kennen being the teacher. Nocturne being the demon in ''For Demacia'' story. There are some heroes who doesn't even get mentioned. The heroes that have absolutely no lore at all. Like Soraka, Veigar, Vlad, Talon, Shaco, Fiddlesticks, Alistar. List goes on.

As far as I know, these are still in line with the Canon lore: Lucian Cassiopeia RekSai Sivir

While not receiving much progress over the years, they still maintain their positions in the canon lore. The only thing missing are their personal updated bios.

Gnar Heimerdinger are champions who are not directly tied to any special event, but also still maintain a canon presence in the lore. I don't think every champion needs to be involved in a major event to be considered canon.

I think the most in need of a lore update are : Alistar, Fiddlesticks, Nidalee, Syndra, Vladimir and Zyra

Others will get their VGU soon so we can wait: DrMundo Kayle, Malphite, Mordekaiser, Morgana, Nunu and Shaco

I see packages of lore:

  • Freljord: Anivia, Ashe, Braun, Gragas, Lissandra, Nunu, Olaf, Sejuani, Trundle, Trynda, Udyr & Volibear.
  • Yordles: Corki, Heimer, Lulú, Rumble, Yordle, Tristana, Veigar, Gnar & Ziggs.
  • Void: Cho, Kha, Kog, Rek & Vel.
  • Ionia: Kennen, Yi, Sona (?), Soraka (?) & Syndra
  • Noxus: Vladimir, Draven, Cassiopea, Sion & Talon
  • Demons & Spirits: Bard, Fiddle, Nocturne & Shaco
  • Kumungu: Nidalee & Zyra
  • Icathia: Jax & Zilean
  • Located but alone: Lucian, Singed & Xin Zao
  • Others/Unknown: Morgana, Kayle, Malphite y Alistar

If we are lucky Ionia will be done with Akali and part of Nunu with Freljord.

Luckily, Akali's update is coming very soon alongside some more Ionian lore, possibly even finishing the rest of their roster if were lucky enough! Zed and Kennen might get their new bios, alongside some tweaks to Shen maybe due to the fact they're the NINJA SQUAD Syndra was seemingly confirmed by her leaked color story, which also mentions Soraka for a bit (note: Soraka has been mentioned to have her updated lore ready, but Riot's been waiting for the right time to release it, perhaps now is that time?) Karma may be getting the promised tweaks/continuation of her story as well After that, the only Ionian champion without lore left will be MasterYi, so maybe he'll get some attention too considering his village can be seen from the new map!

Nunu's update is next obviously, and I'm not sure exactly which champions will get their bios updated but my guesses: Ashe Lissandra Sejuani are a must due to their prominence in the Freljord as well as new revelations for the Watchers Trundle Anivia Volibear Braum were already seen in other pieces of lore in the past (The new Ryze cinematic and Ornn's lore) The rest are simply a coinflip since I have no idea, maybe Tryndamere due to the fact that her marriage to Ashe is now confirmed by the map, but I personally hope we get to see some Gragas lore.

So with that, your "need a Bio section" may very well look like this: in the future. Zed's lore isn't canon for now, but he's going to get an update with the second Ionia lore update if I remember correctly.
