@Riot Take a note out of Smash Ultimate's Customisation [Music]

Now I've played Smash Ultimate for a while now and the one thing I think it does really well is give a lot of power to the player to do whatever they feel like doing, something that is reflected in their menu select screen. Now there are tons of things I enjoyed about this menu but for now lets simply focus on one small but amazing option. Customizable stage music.

I personally feel adding this option would be great for a game such as League of Legends as year after year the music team puts out absolutely amazing songs that we'll only get to enjoy for maybe a week on the login screen and then never again unless you go out of your way to look the song up again. So why not give players a choice during per example champ select or even better, as presets within their item menu in the collection so you can set music for each of your favorite champions.

Music has the power to set a mood and make someone feel even more invested in the moment or their champion.

Tracking through the river bed, slowly coming closer and closer to your pray as you wait for the perfect moment to strike. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHRvLl8hpqc

Showing whatever fool who dared to oppose you the might of Shurima as you dominate midlane. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smNA_BYDODU

I honestly think the game could honestly only benefit from adding a feature such as this.

It would be nice for Riot to do, but do we really need it? I have a Masters In musicianship and a bachelors in biology, and although the effect of music is heavy, in a game like league, the dedication and focus actually required kinda just make the music pointless. and pros play with music off, so even less reason for Riot.

and most of the time, people play their own music. I like the concept and ideas promoted, but just seems unessasary.

It would be too much work. Have you ever listened to the full soundtrack of the Summoner's Rift, the Howling Abyss or the Twisted Treeline? There are always some variation as the game goes on. The music slightly changes when there is a First Blood, when a first turret gets destroyed, when the only turret lefts are the Nexus's...

Giving this treatment to all the musics Riot have ever done would be an enormous work to do and they clearly don't have the time to do this. However, Riot tried to do something like that before, when Zoe and Swain's rework go released. When you play them, there is around 33% chance that their theme starts to play at the begining of the game for about 20 seconds. This second option is much more feasible but they stopped to do it for some reasons.
