After Riot reworked Aatrox, we lost an archetype within the lore.

There are no longer any champions who inspire blood lust.

I think it would be pretty cool if Riot went back and released the champion that we thought Aatrox was going to be. Back when Aatrox was teased and all we really had was banner wings and his lore where he was inspiring blood lust and turning the tides of battle. Back before Darkin were a thing. I think it would be really cool if we could get a Demon or a Wraith or something who can do what we thought Aatrox was going to do. It really doesn't need to be a Darkin. I just want a Jungler/Support who can deliver on this archetype.

No we didn't, the "avatar of war" space was being crowded out by two other "gods of war" that weren't doing a good job fulfilling that outside of their lore either Pantheon and Volibear

Thankfully now that Aatrox is actually an interesting character and not just an interesting concept that isn't 100% executed on these two other chapions can fill that space that he always intended to fill. They are both on the High priority VGU list so it's forseeable in the next year one or both will egt updated to suit the avaatar of war role

The closest is probably Kled, the insane Yordle on the front lines of every Noxian battle that seems to come from nowhere.

It'd also be good for a Noxus support, but we need a new Demacia champ first

To be honest I don't thats really such an important archetype in the first place.

But I agree that a demon who feeds on anger would make a lot of sense given what we know about demons,so that would be a possibility.

Actually there is still a Darkin that demands mindless blood shed and revels in it out of sheer pleasure that's like no other.

Play Kayn and go the Rhaast/red route.

Yea another "edgy" support akin to Pyke. However they would be more of an enchanter which we haven't had in quite awhile and they would power up allies and weaken opponents.

Kled literally inspired a cowardly lizard to go into battle. His ult charge into battle encouraging his team to go in with him.

This game couldn't have lost what you misbelieve was Aatrox's old archetype if that original kit never actively did any bloodlust influencing.
