Saw an animated LoL ad while watching a YouTube video

Some guy is bad at LoL because he can't hit skillshots, and then his buddy recommends he play Yi because then you don't have to aim. I wish I was making this up, but I'm not. The bad player asks if this is a problematic design, but the friend says it's okay because there are over 100 champions with unique roles.

The voice actors sounded like they were a pair of interns with no VA experience.

If I had been around other people while watching this ad, and one of them said to me, "hey, don't you play that game?" I'd be like, "um... nope. I don't."

Credit where it's due: this ad may have been incredibly stupid and poorly made, but at least it was coherent and identifiable as a LoL ad, so props for that.

Be real, all of the recent LoL ads suck [REMOVED BY MODERATION - ULANOPO]

It's not just this one.

They all suck.

Pretty much sums up the backstory of Yi mains.

But for real imagine if your main came up as the one that doesnt need aim, id be pissed tbh

My question for this ad.

Why not help your friend land skillshots instead of recommending an easy champion that will probably be banned most of the time?

If anyone finds it, please send me the link.

I need to see that for myself.

Reminds me of those Mobile Legends ads where they bragged about having voice chat on their mobile league clone. There was this girl in one room, and the 30 year old virgins they had in another room all huddled around the one guy's phone were all excited, and then she says like "Hey, it's time to fight?" or something like that in broken english. It was very clearly not made in north america. There were other lines that were pretty cringy to hear too, like "Kill da monkey" which i can only assume referred to that game's Wukong clone.

They have creative partners (often youtubers) who do that kind of stuff., The german ad for example is made by one of the german animators, though I couldn't name him because I'm old and can't keep up with the memes

that sounds nice, there should be champions that work with all playstyles and this includes ones that are more accessible to new players and or people who cant hit skillshots

yall are so grouchy

I mean. I'm pretty sure most of the ads are community-made, so that probably explains why they have no VA experience.
