It's time to kill another champ like the Gangplank event 3 years ago
That was the ballsiest lore event ever which had a significant impact on the core game as well. I would love to see another iteration of real stakes lore again.

They're going to kill Zoe of course. Say that she just decided to leave Runeterra.
But Gangplank didn't die.....
And repeating the whole fake-death thing would feel pretty cheap.
Now they could actually kill a champion off,but given that most champion lores are still at the beginning of their lores it'd feel really out of place and like wasted potential

When the Pantheon rework comes, I actually want Atreus to die.
Pantheon will then proceed to take over a new host, and that would explain the rework, lorewise at least.
It was amazing at the time, and since Riot's lore had been mostly told through what amounted to a Runeterra tabloid up to that point we were all caught off guard.
All it really did was lead to a lot of complaining honestly.
Gangplank is still alive tho...
Quick question. Did you main Gangplank when that event happened? Or did you just buy the rework that Riot revealed earlier that month?
