Lion & Wolf Teaser

So I stumbled on this image first on youtube, switched over to Surr@20 and low and behold (I think that's how it goes), we more than likely are getting teased for another VS event.

Now last year's event was pretty good: you got two legendaries for two popular (though be it toxic in some way) champions, some cool missions that felt good to complete, it was a good event.

With this teaser though, it has gotten me interested in what's to come this year. There's obviously room for discussion on who will be the main spotlight characters, but I want to share my thoughts on who I _don't _think will be the main candidates:

  • Warwick - Look, it's easy to assume "oh it has wolf in the teaser so it must be him" but you're forgetting something: HE ALREADY GOT A SKIN THIS YEAR AND NOT TOO LONG AGO! Yeah, it was legacy but nevertheless it's a skin that counts (unlike LCS/Esports skins). Having him get a legendary would be nice but being right now after only a few months is just stupid. It would be the whole "Yi getting two skins in a couple months of each other" situation all over again. Or hell, MF with SG and GG.

  • JarvanIV - In some ways, I feel like he represents the lion but considering a similar situation with WW again, he just got Darkstar, so giving him another skin, again would plunge into the same situation.

Now briefly on ideas of who it could be:

  • Garen Katarina - I'm actually going to say this is pretty low on my expectations. It's kind of been a joke of these two being a thing or paired up, so it would make sense that they would be paired together for something like this. On top of that, the lion does have a very Demacian feel to it while the Wolf has a Noxus vibe. Nevertheless, I still doubt this is it but there's still a (low) chance.

  • Rengar Khazix - This may just be more of a metaphor for these two rivals, and would make a lot more sense. Last years VS was more focused on champs that have some sort of rivalry to them, at least in some base of story and fan speculation. Here, it's no doubt that Rengar and Kha hate each other. Plus, who couldn't see Rengar as part lion in a skin? That said, I'm not entirely sure why Rengar would be the one to rule or why Kha is being treated as a wolf.

Idk, again these are just my speculations that I thought I'd share. What are yours on this matter?

Could possibly be Darius Garen

The lion head looks like it could be a big sword and the 2 wolf heads could form an axe. But I hope it's Warwick, just because I don't want to chose between 2 champs I absolutely don't care about again.

Idk y but i feel graves and tf. The lion looks close to victorious graves's lion armor.
And wolves are typically sneaky in stories. Sneaky like a thief would be

Something I highly doubt but feel like sharing is it could be Ornn and Volibear. Ornn becomes the Noble Lion and Volibear the Warmonger Wolf. Really doubt it because Ornn first skin wouldn't be a legendary and the whole changing their species. It just that the Lion face reminds me of Ornn so much.

Except that this looks more a World of Warcraft event teaser there is nothing much I can guess.

The most popular blief is that is a Noxus vs Demacia event (which would be really good) but I'm more on the side of the few saying that it's going to be an event similar to RIven and Yasuo involving Guardian and Marauder skinlines (color palette matches).

About the involved champions I'm unsure. It could also be (but really, REALLY unlikely) a double new champion release.
