@Riot, How Do Lore Creators Work With Other Teams?

It is my fear, that Riot currently has its lore personal working too closely with it's champion development crew.

While new and innovative game mechanics are vital to LoL's gameplay development, I fear that RIot is making its lore creaters to create their stories around game mechanics, rather than the other way around.

An amazing story is timeless, while a neat game mechanic is usually just kinda interesting for a while.

How are they creating lore based on mechanics?

And why should it be the other way around?

The lore team needs to work with the champion development crew,otherwise the development crew would struggle to create unique characters and where to fit them in.

If you look at Taric and Aurelion Sol, the mechanics were (purportedly) developed due to their lore identity. Not the other way around. But voicing the concern is always a good thing, because we don't want Riot to wander astray from the good path.
