Are there orphanages in the Noxus? What happens to orphans?

Darius, Draven, Riven and Talon are the orphan champions of Noxus.

Darius and Draven born in Basilich and it was not in Noxus at the time.

Riven's dad died at war and her mother died giving her birth. And her bio says she was sent to a farm run by the empire to gain her bread. Riven's story also mentions there are always a lot of orphan because of non-ending wars.

Then we have Talon... Living in the slums and trying to stay alive.

My question does Noxus try to get every orphan to those working places? Do they all get sent to farms or similar places to gain their food? The ones that Noxus doesn't know and the ones that escape try to live in the slums and streets like Talon?

Thanks for answering, or even thinking about it. It seems orphans make up the biggest percentage of Noxus and we should get a little more insight on it.

You have to feed the troops somehow. It's a modest proposal.

I honestly don't believe Noxus has a large percentage of orphans in their population. The lore implies that the lands they conquer actually fairly rarely resist occupation, since Noxus offers the protection of the empire while also allowing the conquered regions to continue as usual, except under the control and rule of Noxus. It also states that Noxus encourages the native populations they conquer to people the Noxian armies with their own troops, commanders, and weaponry, since they value having unique fighting style and diversity that allows for the empire to be flexible in combat.

That said, what Noxus offers to orphans, such as putting them to work on farms, doesn't seem as dire and David Copperfield as you might think. These kids are doing jobs, offered to them by the empire, to keep them off the streets and productive, while also providing for themselves through labor. I got no impression that these were labor camps by any means, just the way that Noxus makes use of the unfortunate youth while instilling in them a drive to be better, work hard to make a living, and grow beyond their meager beginnings to move towards a greater future.

There are no orphanages. Just boot camps for the Unwanted Youth division of the 3rd army.

Noxus is about being resilient and strong, I doubt they'd have a serious system of social care to help their citizens. Maybe some towns in the areas they conquered have something better, but as far as the Noxus high command is concerned you need to learn how to be tough at every age, so while they might not be perfectly ok with letting orphans run on the streets (which will likely happen anyways, and it does) due to security issues and stealing, it is a good way to pick out the strong and resilient. And for those that ask/seek for help, they send to work AND care AND lowkey training. It's mentioned in Riven's lore that she was stronger than her fellow trainees in the army due to her farm work life. As far as Noxus would be concerned; That's GREAT!! You have someone helping you get food for your large army, you have growing soldiers for said army, and you have potentially BETTER soldiers for said army.

TLDR; letting kids have a hard childhood leads to those kids either dying off cuz they're weak or succeeding even better in strength obsessed Noxus. So orphanages in our world are counterproductive in Noxus.

I'm sure they have state run orphanages that are just glorified recruiting stations for the military
