Does Galio's new lore have some inspiration on the Titan of Braavos from Game of Thrones?

"Looming brazen above Demacia's walls, the colossus stands with silent lips. The elders tell of ages past, when the mighty man stirred to defend the huddled masses. Many doubt these legends. But—like imprisoned lightning—the colossus is waiting. And when he's most needed, he'll stretch his conquering limbs again."

So Galio is an enchanted, gigantic statue who remains dormant in peace-time, and awakes during war-time to defend Demacia. He IS real, as the masive statue is there, somewhere in Demacia, but as Demacia has been in relative peace for centuries (I don't think the war in which Jarvan I died could be considered an event in which Galio would participate, I consider something like a Void/Shadow Isles invasion), he has been dormant for a long time, and most people think his tales are just myth and legend.

Now, in GOT there is this maritime city called Braavos that is guarded by a gigantic statue called Titan of Braavos. It is the primary line of defense for Braavos and lets out a loud blast whenever a ship approaches the entrance to warn the Arsenal of its coming.

Although I cannot find a source, I recall someone in the T.V. series saying that the Titan coming to live is either a leyend or a children bed-time story.

I just want to know if this inspired new Galio in some way.

The one in GoT is just a straight copy of a thing that actually existed, the Colossus of Rhodes.
