I didn't notice it back then, but it seems that Riot has shoehorned Chemtech Tryndamere in the same skin universe like the superhero skins, but as a villain. Super Teemo, Phoenix Quinn, Chemtech Tryndamere, Feral Warwick and many more are now part of a skin line called Silver Age, inspired by comics.

And my question is: WHY??????

Chemtech Tryndamere isn't inspired by comic books or anything like that. He is obviously designed after the Chemtech aesthetics of Zaun. I hoped so long that we can see more Chemtech skins in the future, but with it being part of this super hero universe, I highly doubt that we will get any more of these skins....

Did Chemtech Tryndamere sell so badly that you just decided to abandon this new skin line and shoehorn it into a universe it definitely not belongs into? You are breaking my heart here....

They won't do more because as they explained lore skins don't do well. Noxus skins like Poppys are kinda the same.

I like how there's more Villains than there are Heroes.

Heroes: Super Kennen, Super Teemo and Phoenix Quinn Villians: Cryocore Brand, Biroforge Darius, Infiltrator Irelia, Augmented Singed, Chemtech Tryndamere, Superb Villain Veigar, Feral Warwick

But Trynd is part of it according to their lore because "he is an experiment created by the villainous Singed"
