Is General Du Couteau ever gonna factor into the lore again?
I mean give us a hint at least. A short story. A new champ implying he's still alive. Something.

Outside of the odd reference probably not, and that's for the best. I always feared them dragging Kassadin's kid into the game because there was no way it was gonna be good and rightfully so Kai'sa was a little crap, and I'm deeply convinced that the day they attempt to bring Kat's dad in will be the end times. It's up there with Pool Party Ahri as a warning sign for armageddon.
Y'know, personally I grew bored and uninterested in this Du Couteau mystery. Although im always interested to talk about it.
Its hooks were laid into lore 6-7 (?) years ago, and nothing has moved forward. Which surprisingly isnt the reason why im not interested in Coutaeu's disappearance but rather there's never been a shred of evidence or clue as to why. We can sit here all day and theory-craft, but at the end of it nothing makes sense until it's offically adressed.
I understand that not knowing is the definition of the mystery, but I would have liked after all this time to see something new and intriguing. A clue/s that could lead to being the motive. Instead its still much the same as before. Guy disappeared; we dont know why; most (except Talon) dont seem to care as to why; and someone probably killed him for undisclosed reasons.
I really wish they would update Kat’s voiceover. It’s super bland and has no interactions with other champions. Maybe if they did that they could include some interactions or just normal lines that would answer that question.
Probably come back whenever they decide to release Talon's lore. Which has been a long time, so I hope it's soon.
But then again...I hoped it was soon back in February during Swain/Noxus's update...
