WTF is up with Transcended (Unmasked) Kayle's face?

This is not Kayle, it's not even the new Kayle. Her face is round, wide, and she's got really big lips. Every other artwork for Kayle shows her with a thin, long face and slimmer lips, like Aetherwing for example. Please fix this splash. Edit: So I'm not getting this. People are actually ok with the fact that this Transcendent splash, which is supposed to depict Kayle, has a completely different face? People are fine that champions can look like completely different people in their splashes? Should we make Illaoi look like she's a 30ish girl of 180lbs in her next skin and people will be ok with that?

As an owner of unmasked Kayle, I'm pretty disappointed.

Trascended is probably going to be as the full Aspect of Justice would look like or either how Kayle would look after returning from her Targon pilgrimage.

I actually really like the concept and the whole splash, the only thing i have a problem with is the face, that's just not kayle. Please guys let this spread so the artists can do something about it.

So what battle boar Morgana should look different too? Kayle has transcended. Look at a transcending video you go through changes when you transcend. into a "perfect" being and she by the male perspective i would assume is perfect

If you go and look at the artists page where you can see the progress (snatti89) you can see that the face was a lot better and then got entirely reworked at the end, meaning that it was requested by riot and wasn't the artist's idea. The exactly same thing happened with Mafia Miss Fortune (same artist) where they (riot's artist team and not the artist himself) turned her strong and bold features into some cutesy perky nose crap. So you people are directing your hate towards the wrong person...

Well, actually it makes perfect sense.

With the old system, Kayle normally wears a helmet, but Unmasked Kayle doesn't; with the new system, Kayle normally wears a padded skin-tight long face mask that shows off more of her curves with protective padding for the forehead and the bottom of the chin, but Unmasked/Transcended Kayle doesn't and we see her true face without the skin-tight face suit with strategically padded "protection" to enhance her otherwise unspectacular curves.

I get that these skins are supposed to change how a champion looks, but I don't want them to change how she LOOKS!

Look at Aetherwing for instance. The new base Kayle has white hair. For some reason with Aetherwing, she has blonde hair AND it's longer!

And where are her wings!? She has like this weird mechsuit on instead of her feathery angel wings!

Clearly these artists have no idea what they are doing by making the skins look different. I should be in charge.

On a more serious note. I see you don't quite understand the perspective of the shot. The viewpoint is looking up at her, giving her jawline a less pronounced boundary. This is why her face looks rounder.

Also there is a certain amount of deviation allowed for an artist to go off model, and when the character is the only one in the game with hyper-defining traits (i.e. angel wings) that deviation limit increases, as there is a very low chance of anyone mistaking the character for anyone else.

the pursuit of art involves creative freedom. it's hilarious reading about so many people being anal about trivial nuance while champions like Gnar, Kog'Maw, and Kai'Sa, Diana, Quinn have skin(s) with complete different physical traits (including skin color); often even completely different outfit or thematic design that screams "different personality" (e.g. Arcade Riven, Bunny Riven, most of Quinn's skins, etc). you people are being really petty.
