I know that riot is busy trying to make new lore and the like for other champions but I really want a continuation of her story especially since it kind of left off with her getting a lead on her past. If anyone from riot sees this and has info on it I would very much appreciate it if you would tell me something.

Ionia is next on the region updates soo its possible
I'm pretty sure everything will get a continuance once the ground work is lain. Everyone needs their first and basic update and then I believe champions will have their story continued. A don't doubt a few champions will stray away from this formula, Ahri possibly being one of them, due to their popularity.
We are apparently getting another Bilgewater update this year and I wouldn't be surprised if MF's story is touched up on, especially since she's such a focal point of the plot for Bilgewater.
