What Pyke may bring to the lore of Bilgewater

The narrative team gave us hints of all of their immediate plot points which have all coincided with new champions and VGUs . With the tease and subsequent release of Pyke ,we are now on the Bilgewater plot : “Bilgewater, and the dark, cold seas around it”. Pykes teaser gives us a general idea of how the Bilgewater story will be expanded upon. The theme of oceanic horror stories either ghostly or monstrous or both seem likely to be the main focus if Pykes teaser and the attention recently put on are any indication. A line said by to Bilgewater champions greatly hints at some great threat that is lurking in the deep: “They fight the Mist above the seas. Never looking beneath.". Whatever it may be I’m hoping we’ll see some more dark and chilling stories and perhaps some glimpses of the wonderful and terrifying creatures that make the waters around and beyond Bilgewater their home
