If you could travel into Runeterra right now with your current memories, what would you do?

Rules:

  1. You get transported to a random safe location in any of the continents.
  2. You maintain all knowledge of lore.
  3. You can not come back, the only exception is if you somehow figure out how to travel the multiverse and manage to find this reality again.
  4. Assuming everyone has the ability to use magic in Runeterra, you take on their universe's rules. Which means you have the abilities to access magic. (how is another story).

Any questions on rules feel free to ask.

I feel like I'd be royally screwed.

  1. I am disabled and need a Walker to move around. Even if that comes with me I would very much struggle with the whole wilderness and no elevators thing. Though levitation magic would be my first to learn thing if I survive and get lucky.

  2. I know enough about the lore to know how screwed everyone is. Events are lining up to lead to a cataclysmic event, such as a war with the void, the return of the darkin in their prime, multiple powerful entities returning, etc.

Now, what I would do. Honestly, find Zoe. She's an extremely powerful dimension hopping being. Now, I wouldn't return but I would try and make her my guardian until I can set out on my own. She should be strong enough to keep me safe from nearly anything, or at least buy me enough time to get out.

I would then try to manipulate events and people until I was in contact with some other powers. Ryze comes to mind. I'll use my knowledge to help him out and he'll help me out. The darkin are another one and this may be tricky. They will want to kill me and very likely will try so i'll need to make every word count before I'm dead. Basically make them believe I'll try to help free them and that as a free agent I won't be under suspicion. If it works I have zoe, ryze, and all the darkin backing me, all opposing powers. Next i'll need to branch out to other powers and use the allies I made to eliminate sure fire threats. Sadly Azir will have to be one of those I eliminate along with Xerath and Renek. Azir would conquer the world, the other two will mindlessly kill without me having a way to make them not kill me. The darkin would try to kill me, but they want their freedom and if I offered it I might survive theres nothing renekton or xerath want that I can bluff.

I would try to gain Ashe and trynd as allies as well as Liss. Ashe and trynd are a powerful group, and liss knows the void and wants to stop them now. I would use her and her knowledge to get the other powers to ally up and stop the void or at least be ready for it. If it all works out runeterra survives and im a hero that saved it all with my cunning.

The darkin wouldn't get their freedom, and the benevolent powers would protect me and the malevolent powers wouldn't want to start another war after the one with the void all over a disabled man who just used a few convenient lies to save the world and his own skin. Too much risk and no reward.

And that is how I would try to survive.

I would, in all honesty, probably fucking die before I could do anything. How though is the fun part.

Will I fry like an egg in the heat of the Shuriman desert? Will I freeze to death in the Freljord? Will I be eaten by some form of nightmarish wildlife? Jhin?

The possibilities are endless!

Hmmmm. Well there are a couple of scenarios that i would probably follow (or happen without my input).

  1. Be completely paralyzed by the event and probably just try to passively try to survive/live my life there.
  2. Be stupidly happy and excited thinking i would be able to become a hero or something like that, only to die to my first obstacle.
  3. I would be searching all around runeterra to find xerath. And when i do find him pledge my allegiance to him (to survive all the apocalyptic scenarios) . Oh also, thunderstorms. If i get lucky maybe i might be able to learn how to summon thunderstorms or other spells.
  4. I would search aurelion sol just to ask him to say the BOOP thingy.

Nice post, got my attention. Okay, here are a few things to reconsider :

  • Who would want to come back to this messed up reality where people kill people for dead liquid dinosaurs and would leave people to die from sickness, because of money.

  • People who say they will go to big supreme monsters like Xerath, Zed, Azir etc. And people who say they will join big nations like Noxus or Demacia or even go to Ionia will die first. You go there in 21-century clothes with no way to defend your self and have only your mouth and information as a weapon. You will need someone who is kind and would not kill you the moment you start talking about how much you know them, cuz lets be honest if you find LeBlanc and start talking about everything you know about her and the Black Rose she would make sure you are gone forever. You need to find a support like champion (Soraka,Janna,Braum) or someone who is smart enough to believe you (Heim,Jayce,Zilean,Ryze). And that's only if you would like to return to this horrible reality. If you don't want to come back you will have to use everyone like chess pieces to survive.

  • I personally would seek someone who is not from the big countries like Demacia (Even tho I would do anything to hear Lux's laugh in reality), I would try to find Ryze ( a hero that would not murder me, and is most likely to help me + I can steal all his runes cuz I know where he hides them). Or I would find someone to be my master in magic so I can become powerful with time and with all the knowledge about the world around me...... I WOULD ENSLAVE ALL OF RUNTERRA AND BECOME THE SUPREME LEADER OF THAT REALITY MUHAHAHAHAHAHHA....cough - cough I mean....I would go hug WIllump too... [sg-jinx]

I would NOT travel into Runeterra, i dont want to die.

But if i did, i guess that i would try to get a sweet mecha arm from Viktor since he gives those for free as far as i know.

Hmm lets see, step 1 tear my clothes to camouflage as a wandering vagabond.

2 seek out a way to learn sword skills, magic is nice but takes time and am trying g to be practical.

3 considering am nimble IRL from doing parcour I'd most likely try duel wielding, and would go to somewhere like noxus, earn combat experience and how to forge my own weapon.

4 now equip with combat knowledge and weapons I'd set out on an expedition, this is where it gets hard since noxus is enemies with everywhere, I'd have to go to blidgewater to gather information at the docks.

5 since am at the docks I'd get a job hunting sea monsters with a hopefully competent crew to get some gold and a good enough ship for my voyage to ionia.

6 in Ionia I'd trade secrets of our world, explaining to them psychology and use it to implant trust in them, I'd meditate there to feel the flow of energy. Using the information i got from bligewater id ask for help and further training in blade wielding.

7 leaving ionia I'd have to go to tragon in search of the crystals, hopefully i survive to proceed.

8 forge a blade from taragonian crystal and bring about a new age of sword smithing making g me a known legend.

9 find ryze and learn the language of runes, engraving my swords with wind and fire.

I'd still be able to find a way to learn magic but time might have me dead by then

Key points i could try my hand in the arts of wuju but am not about to chase a yi. Still I would definitely learn magic just not gonna go unprepared

Define access to magic? Since the Ascension ritual is basically imbuing mortals with celestial magic, does that mean I get to choose to be an Aspect or Ascended off the bat? Or even choosing to be apart of a magical race like the Vastaya for example is that allowed?

No, I'm just kidding, but becoming Ryze's apprentice would certainly be interesting. If the amount of knowledge I have about magic is actually decent, like at least lux's level in the lore, I would explore the rest of the map. Since Riot said the Runeterra we know is only like 1/3 of the world, I would love to see the rest, but not with Ezeral though, I don't like his attitude...

I'd go to Noxus, I'd hopefully learn magic and in the mean time take the painting knowledge I have and make propaganda posters. because hey Noxus seems open about magic and the only things they care about is that 1. you doing what your best at and 2. that thing be useful to the empire. Mh, my heart would tell me to got to Ionia or Demacia. Or Noxus for the opportunity. However, Ionia is still divided from the War and I have no idea what should I do? Try to live a normal life there and trying to learn magic? Join Zed's Order (would be fun with no fighting experience I guess...) not consider I'm not an extremist and probably don't wanna forsaken my body or soul for corrupting shadow magic. I, however, would love to braid Kayn's hair. Searching for Syndra and teach how to have deal properly with her suppressed emotion (and make her less a ticking time bomb)? But somehow I think I would be to much for her, poor girl needs some alone time for now.

Maybe I could wait until we get more information and go and join the Black Rose. Having important information about the word, which I could sell LeBlanc in exchange for more magic knowledge/teaching how to use magic proper. Maybe also giving her a hint that she should keep an eye on Vladimir.

I guess Piltover would be the safest place, but too little magic for my taste. You only have one live, time to make the best out of it, I guess?

I guess the most reassuring place to be in would be Piltover since it's the most technologically advanced place we know in Runeterra, and it might be the safest as I doubt many people would dare commit crimes with Camille around.

If I want to learn magic and stuff, I would probably try to reach vastayas first, as they have a more respectful use of magic than normal humans IIRC, so I would head up to the Lothlan tribe in Ionia to learn it their way. Not sure it's really safe though.

If I want to return as fast as possible to this world, I would try to meet with Zoe, as she spends most of her time traveling from dimensions to dimensions for fun. I could also try to meet Ekko or Zilean to create time interference to bring Space-Time police (Pulsefire Caitlyn and such) out and hope they don't shoot me on sight so they can bring me back to the world I belong to. So either Targon to meet Zoe or Zaun to meet Ekko. As Zilean's location is currently unknown/not yet retconned, he's not an option to consider.

I also want to meet Willump so I can hug the hell out of him.

Honestly i would just travel with Soraka as her spirit is kindred enough to mine. Though the real question is which version of Runeterra would we get dropped on? Like if i could chose i would like to be dropped in the star guardian version of Runeterra as at least i would have a shot at becoming a star guardian. And if i ever wanted to return i could always try to locate the nearest Ezreal to hitch a ride back to this reality or at least find his gauntlet if i get put in a time before he exists.

If I didn't want to return to reality, I would probably look for Lulu. With Bandle kicking her put, she's probably lonely, and she sounds like the friendliest champion in the roster. Plus, I just like Lulu. Before I quit, she was my first round pick as support
