Wow, alright, I'm a nerd. I main support, and Nami is just abut my favorite character I can think of ever. From her voice, to her moves, to her surprising damage, to her lore. I love her. (Not like, wanna fiddle the diddle love, but just a genuine interest in the character love.) While listening to the song with my eyes closed I suddenly realized why this song fits her just so well. It's telling her life, her lore.

At the very start its tentative, slow, with high notes, as a sign of her birth. After a moment it gets deeper to as she's growing up, learning, exploring her being. She starts to become more excited, and grown in her own mental capacity. She starts growing stronger, as does the song. Her maturing as the song reaches it's first peak. She sees the time her people, the Marai, are waiting for the arrival of the Tidecaller. She sees their decline, and starts to grow almost angry at their ease of waiting, of belief. She decides to take up arms on her own, going to find the pearl.

The notes pause. They fall deeper and deeper as she swims farther in to the abyss. They pick back up as she gains her confidence, pushing her way deeper as she begins to fight with the terrible creatures, unspeakable horrors in this nightmarish black. The notes are powerful and push the song further. It finally builds until she reaches the pearl, she wins this battle, and finally holds it in her hands.

The song starts to lift, like her swim back up from the depths, a smile wide on her face, despite the terrors she faced. She was on her way to saving her people. The cheer of her people and joy that they really did have the new Tidecaller. They push her on, sending their well wishes and hopes of her success as she swim to the surface. The song hits a low as she breaks through the water and sees that the person who was meant to trade her for the pearl is not there. Her true sadness that she must fully leave the ocean to search and save her people. And then, in the end, the single high note as she sees a small bit of hope, a light in the distance of the league. Of meeting and finding the person she must trade with in the strong collection of beings that might be able to trade the moonstone.

I congratulate you, League Creative department. You have a honestly amazing group of people to have been able to create that, to play each one of those notes and be able to portray such a wide range of emotions. I thank you for putting so much depth to my favorite character, and I ask that you continue to keep up the good work, so that others might be able to enjoy the amount of joy that you have given me today.

I kinda wish they could expand on her story. It feels like there's enough for a solo game in itself. Beginning with her as another girl (okay...mermaid girl), and her journey into the abyss, her battles against the terrors (whatever they maybe), her return home, her attempt to fulfill the prophecy, her joining the league, a few matches with a visit to Bildgewater (have to explain her relationship with Fizz and Nautilus with the latter being a boss battle along with Gangplank or even Illaoi TahmKench ), with her putting the clues together to find Diana (who probably still doesn't know about the prophecy), maybe even have Leona as a boss battle too. I know I'm just spit balling, but I think it can work.
