Kai'sa and Kassadins relation

So I've been reading lore recently and find it interesting. I'm not a expert on the lore so if I have some info wrong please let me know but please give me a quote or link so I can look into it. All this info is as of 3/5/2018.

So with the new lore for Kassadin and Kai'sa I don't believe with 100% that there is enough evidence for them being father and daughter. They both have references that could say they are related, but they never mention each others names.

The other major note is that both Kassadin and Kai'sa on there lore pages have their only related champions being Malzahar (As of 3/5/2018). This though could just be me over looking things.

Note I am not saying it's impossible for them to not be related. More of that there is a possibility for them to be not related. Please share any thoughts you have I would love to hear if anyone else is a little skeptical or if I am just missing some thing.

Arguments

  1. Kassadin and Kai'sa are both have home in the southern region of Shurima. * Though Shurima has many tribes we could assume that there are more than one tribe in the south so this alone is not strong enough to confirm this.

  2. They both have there home village destroyed due to the void. * Though as it is said in Kassadins new lore "then it had likely been the death of his entire village, and countless more besides". Countless more this show that many villages have been destroyed so again in my opinion not enough evidence.

  3. Kassadin's village had rubble that he clawed through. And Kai'sa village was consumed and left nothing but black columns. * Kassadin's lore " he found only shifting sand and rubble. He clawed at the debris until his hands bled." * Kai'sa lore "A great rift split the bedrock, swallowing up Kaisa’s village and everyone in it, leaving nothing behind but sand pierced with twisted columns as black as night." * This is describing two different places and not the same one with shifting sand and rubble, and the other sand pierced with twisted columns as black as night. This to me says they are from different villages.

  4. Kai'sa quotes when going against and enemy Kassadin. "Huh, memories of my father come at the strangest moments."/ "Reunions can be so bittersweet."/"Could it.. be true?"/"It smells like home here."/"Father?"/"Have we met?"/"You seem familiar."/"Something is off here." * This is without a doubt the strongest argument that could be used. But even still with Kassadins new lore he collects artifacts to fight the void. But this could just be that Kassadin has collected an item that belongs to her father. Or seeing as we don't know from Kai'sa lore what her father does, it could be that the two of them are similar in personality or what they do. Or it could just be riot messing with us (added 3/5/2018).

When Swain uses Visions of Empire on Kassadin he says "So he's heard the rumors... the girl who came back." She is his daughter.
