I promised two a year, so here we are. Karthus' ult quotes are awesome and add serious dread and panic to the ability's use. If I just see a coumn of light I'm like, "Oh, Karthus is ulting." But if I hear along with it "A dirge for those who remain!" then I'll be like "SON OF A DIDDILY KARRHUS IS ULTING!"

Why would Karthus' Ult need a global line? It's not like his Ult is highly visible, or really dramatic, or tied to his character/image as something huge. Come back when his Ult is something that everyone on the map has to know about, like Kallista's passive at the start of every game. Now THAT is something I really need to know: that Kallista used an item she uses at the start of every game, in the middle of the enemy base on the far side of the map. I would never know she has a passive if it wasn't globally announced every game. The fuck, Rito

Besides, Riot has already said that they won't do this. Rek'Sai's distorted screeching is apparently far more memorable.
I am a big fan of Karthus, and this would add a bit of minor psychological warfare to the game. Imagine escaping Karthus only to hear “Sing with your final breath!” And suddenly see a column of light descend. Instead of just accepting death, more intensity and panic would be added for the enemy. I think adding global quotes would be a great idea!
Really no reason why a_ global ult_ that 100% affects all living players that_ already_ has voicelines does not play the damn voicelines for all players.
In fact, it should play it for allied players too since it probably affects their engagement too.

at the very least can i HEAR the quotes when playing him? at LOT of the time as karthus i'm just looking at the low HP target to know if i'm gonna kill them or not, its really a shame to not be able to hear such cool lines.
