Okay Title is clearly saying it's a question so don't hate :D.

By image I saw of evelynn and particles in the background I would think he killed Queen/King. By hand I think it was a king/prince but I know that Avarosa was killed by her sister. MAYBE SHE WASN'T or at least not avarosa but different queen of Freljord... dont judge I don't have any idea what I am writing mostly [slayer-jinx-wink] . So is Evelynn connected to freljord bcs we see these White snowy particles... I think new evelynn will have interesting lore.. I just need to read her current lore...

Actually looking at the guards they look more like demacians, so this was likely some demacian royalty of sorts (maybe a baron or something idk he has a crown). From Vayne's lore we do know Evelynn has made appearances in Demacia and as for her showing up in the Freljord in the future, I don't think its impossible.

There are several reasons why this is not the Freljord. The first is that the Freljord is a conglomeration of warring tribes in the current lore, and as such, they don't have cities as those depicted in the splash and neither would they have highly decorated armies and royalty. Do recall, the Queen Ashe and King Tryndamere skins have been edged out of the lore, so they are no longer relevant. The Freljordians would live like the Norse, in longhouses with barbarian looking armies and fighters.

Secondly, Riot has confirmed multiple times that Evelynn will be more deeply tied to the Shadow Isles. One of the features of the Isles is the Mist, which could be what we see here, or it could be just a standard fog like you can find anywhere. Snow, also, exists in the world outside of the Freljord.
