Lore updates: Ideas for the future
Hello all! Yes in this I'll discuss what I feel could be done to improve on existing characters, events, etc, IN MY OPINION. You may have a completely different opinion and that's fine, this is a discussion so rather than down voting it please explain your disagreements below. I may well not cover every single thing in this but I will be talking about champions and events I've specifically read the lore to, and if at any point the lore changed please feel free to link the change and inform me. #1- World Runes; the rune wars were clearly a big deal. But aside from a few references and one champ (Ryze) whose totally obsessed with preventing another one from ever happening, there doesn't seem to be much interest in it. One person told me that Brand's lore was changed so he is now the other person searching for the runes but I've yet to see this with my own eyes and it may not be cannon. On the other hand Evelynn seems overjoyed at the thought even saying; "What's a girl gotta do to start another rune war?" But there is no further elaboration than that.
#2- Bigshots in Zaun and Piltover; with this one it comes down to a bunch of things coming together thematically but then nothing actually is made of it. For example a line from Camille states; "I insure the progress of Piltover-" Which would be great aside from the fact that all we've seen Camille do is murder some random rich people. Why is this a problem you might ask? Simple, Jinx blew up a chunk of Piltover, meaning unless the progress Camille seeks is trashing the city, she's not doing anything. Similarly Warwick is a legend within Zaun, but we've never seen him hunting chem-barons even though his recall is literally; "Back to killing Chem-Barons." On top of that Cait, unless her lore was updated hasn't done much investigating at all, and Vi.... Really wants to punch jinx? While we're on that subject, if Cait is the one who took in Vi, why have we never seen other members of their department ever bring her up? How do the people of Piltover feel about their destructive enforcer? Another thing, what do they think of Caitlyn? I mean if a homicidal maniac were running rampant in your city I'm pretty sure you'd lose faith in the law enforcements ability to protect you. Plus Jayce and Viktor need to be more impactful for what they are.
