Will Runeterra blow itself back to the stone age before the age of Hextech arrives?

With Mordekaiser wanting to invade Noxus with a horde of undead, the Void invading the world slowly and corrupting entire landscapes and opening a doorway for the Voidlings, Lissandra looking to create an eternal ice age, the vastayans and human tensions rising, not to mention the incoming invasion of Piltover from Noxus and the inevitable uprising of Zaun it really seems like all these cataclysmic events happening runeterra will either crumble to nothing or the world will be locked in a powerstruggle that leaves nothing but nature to reclaim the world before the progress of Runeterra modernizing itself ends?

Jayce “Time to make a stand.”

There are a few brave, noble champions who can save Runeterra from itself. Luxanna Crownguard wants to end the oppression of mages and, implicitly, bring compassion and understanding to its vision of justice. Ashe of the Avarosa wants to peacefully unite the Freljord and rebuild its society rather than conquer or destroy. Taliyah of the Nasaaj tribe wants to keep Shurima from tyranny and holds within her mind the spark of democracy.

They bring hope. Questioning orthodoxy, rejecting revenge’s tempting poison, and daring to dream of a different world, these three and their allies stand at pivots in history. Should their causes prevail, it will turn toward kindness, progress, and self-rule. Stand with them, then, and hope that others stand with you!

It seems that even now, something worse is to come, or Targon wouldn't be unearthing World Runes so humans found them

Right now there are so many problems and hostilities that the most probable seems the powerstruggle, even if they killed Darkins, Voidborns, Watchers, Revenants/Ghoul Army, still the champion that would remain are dangerous enough to mantain a tense peace between nations until something finally goes out of control and a long lasting war begins.

As Runeterra is right now, I can't see everyone naturally joining together to fight the threats and then living peacefully, and thats probably why they are doomed, unless Riot decides to never advance lore again, only adding new champion stories without never going forward

I think I can recall a Rioter answering a post similar to this one, saying something along the lines of "with so much danger in the world of Runterra, it's rather surprising they haven't all already been destroyed, isn't it?" That makes me think that there is someone or something that is intentionally keeping things from getting any worse than they already are. However, what this something(s) or someone(s) would be, I have no idea. Still, it's interesting to think about!

It will end up in the same way as Azeroth, as in champions will fight larger and larger threats until they won everything.

Oh shoot you must be really invested in the LoL lore bc this post is actually really interesting to me! I don't really have an opinion but I think league is about being frozen in the time it is as new champions are introduced
