{quoted}
- Who is strong enough to take down ASOL when he is unleashed?
If Aatrox can slay a Celestial, there's the possibility that a being like Aurelion could be killed too. We know he can be enslaved, so he isn't all powerful.
{quoted}
- What is the role of these "gods" if ASOL is the one populating the universe with stars?
Aurelion isn't the only one populating the universe with stars. Zoe, the Aspect of Twilight, says something about it.
Depends on what you're defining as "Gods". We have Celestials all across creation and we have demi-gods in Runeterra.
Known demi-gods: Ornn, Anivia, Volibear and Seal Sister. Probably there are more.
Known Celestials: Bard, Soraka, Aspect of Protector, Aspect of Sun, Aspect of Moon, Aspect of War and Aspect of Twilight. Likely there are more.
The demi-gods shapped Runeterra. That was their purpose.
Celestials kinda of "control" creation itself, or at least they try to.
Then there's The Void. That's a completely different can of worms, but the entities that "exist" there have an unknown power limit.
We don't know if there are higher beings.
{quoted}
- This is more of a wish rather than a question, but I hope we get to see a massively powerful void creature fight ASOL in an event.
- How long will it take till we actually get this fated fight?
Maybe one day... who knows.
Aurelion has a very interesting lore bit:
A pulsing sickness lingers in the air. From the epicenter of the corruption, I feel a will… hungry and indomitable, and far from the typical mindlessness I’m accustomed to from these Voidborn aberrations. The pulsating wound on reality yawns and buckles, distorting and warping all it touches. Whatever exists on the other side is laughing.
There's an entity strong enough to captivate Aurelion's attention. Worst than that, whatever that Void entity is capable of, it's well aware of who/what Aurelion is.
