When you say Aurelion Sol's kit isn't "epic enough for a star dragon"...

Think about how his kit would look like outside of you screen in comparison to other champions. For example:

His passive in conjunction with his W: A gigantic dragon commanding celestial bodies to spin around his body at high speed in order to hit you. How epic is that? In comparison to a poisonous dart?
His E and Q. Well now that we have clear that this is a gigantic star dragon commanding stars, imagine that thing FLYING at you while holding a galaxy in his hands. I think all those things combined are pretty epic.
And his ultimate, the voice of light: Basically a dragon that has his own stars gravitating around him while commanding galaxies to fly at you starts breathing star fire. Just think about how epic this would be in a BIG scale.

So my conclusion is, I don't believe Aurelion Sol's kit is a let down. I think its EPIC :D and this is my reasoning. Hopefully that will help change some people's point of view.

AurelionSol I guess rats with x-bows and children throwing bear plushies are what this ppl think is epic.

Nothing is enough when we are talking about dragons... it can ALWAYS be more epic.

Man... that is the tiniest 'gigantic dragon' swinging the smallest 'celestial bodies' I've ever seen. Power creep is real.

I think it's fine too, although I can see where people are coming from with his ult. I like his ult and all, but visually, it's kind of a let down.

it IS epic it just doesn't LOOK epic

We have this dragon that isn't even the size of the low-flame dragon. But they all need to be playable so thats passable.

We have this star that starts out small and grows....but the core never grows only the.....space around it? (that grey stuff). So we have this super small star core surrounded by space.....while it is epic and looks pretty epic that core could afford to grow bigger.

Then we have his w. All this is is his low visual/low effect passive grow bigger and do more damage. Again, while it is stars orbiting him, it doesn't look that epic (hey white stuff orbiting...whoo....). Still epic tho.

Then his e.....probably the most epic looking thing tbh. He lifts off and flies through the air like a comet. No other champ does that and he looks awesome. Epic+looks epic.

Then his ult. While the description of it is awesome (him saying "LET THERE BE LIGHT") it still only looks like an advanced sion e. Epic but doesn't look epic.

So if they could just improve the visuals on all his skills....THEN it'd look epic as well as be epic. Still looks awesome and I still main him and will always main him but they could epicize his skills.....then again they could do that with all champs tbh.

I'll be happy with Sol as he is. He's awesome. More epicness is always welcome on a FLIPPING DRAGON.

I think the issue is that they don't LOOK like the thing they're supposed to BE. Like, yeah, he's a GIANT SPACE DRAGON who FORGES STARS and FLIES ACROSS THE BATTLEFIELD to RAM MOTHERFUCKERS WITH MOTHERFUCKING GALAXIES, and that's all pretty fucking sweet, but he doesn't LOOK all that impressive, and his stars, in game, are fuckin' puny. The concept is cool as hell, but the visuals - while pretty - really don't deliver in that area.

I thought his abilities seemed boring and weak looking, especially his ult but when you play him a few times in an actual game and use his ult and hit all 5 of them it looks pretty powerful.

I like Aurelion Sol, I think he's a really cool design overall. Calling his kit "epic" is a little extreme imo though, not that it can't offer epic moments; I just was expecting a lot more given the way Ao Shin's concept looked. Being the first mage released in so long I find his kit a little disappointing actually, particularly if he's the only mage released this year.

When you think hard about his ult its basically one of the coolest in the game (Thematically) Heres how it goes. 1.) Every dragon needs a breath weapon Ex: Fire Breath 2.) Breath weapons them selves are awesome, blasting the pure elemental power from the maw 3.) Sol being the origin of dragons is more refined 4.) A Voice is more pure and sophisticated than breathing hot air 5.) Sol doesnt just breath fire, he breathes pure star light, which is the origin of fire (using a magnifying glass to ignite wood tinder)

6.) Put 4 and 5 together and think... Sol is using his voice to create light. He is literally commanding light into being..."Let there be light"

He gathers the elements in his surrounding and speaks starfire into being BOOOOOM!!!!
