How Powerful Are The Darkin Now?
On one hand, they were mean ascendants who used magic to increase their strength. Now, they’re parasitic weapons trying to rebuild their bodies to their past glory.

I might be wrong, but I think it was stated that they were more or less as powerfull as an Ascended, what makes a lot more sense now that we know that they were Ascended too.
I would say that they are slighly more powerfull than a normal Ascended now that they learnt various kinds of magic while they still had a body after the fall of Shurima
Below an Aspect i guess. Ascended level before being sealed, though they were weakned by the Void event.
EDITED. Actually MB they did indeed learn more magic in their status as Darkins so perhaps stronger than an Ascended. THough i feel like its hard to compare because their powers became quite different
The whole sealing thing made them weaker though. Also it seems some darkins handle the sealing thing way better than others. Aatrox and Varus look like they have it easy compared to Rhaast (and i'm not talking about the whole Kayn resolve is strong, it barely explain it IMO).
I'd say they are sort of gods level, but lesser gods somehow ? (post-sealing)
Not as powerfull as the Ascended in their current form because their powers are limited by their imprisonment. Before imprisonment, more powerfull than a normal Ascended, but not more powerfull than Nasus or Xerath (Nasus was stated to have killed one of them when that one Darkin entered his library, probably it was a noisy Darkin and Nasus, as a good librarian, killed him.)
The power of each ascended /darkin varies greatly not all ascended were created for fight ( raven siblings were seers for example ) ! However we can Say with certainty that post imprisoment darkin are at the bottom of the (demi) god ladder since they rely too much on a mortal body ! On the other hand xerath is at the top since he has no psychical body and overpowered nasus with only a fragment of his power ( he is currently bound to the sarcophagus).
