I've heard it's outdated and may or may not be getting an update and stuff like that, but I didn't want to overlook the most important part:

The guy got a knife embedded in his skull and it made him smarter.

Yeah, there was blood magic and botched necromancy involved, but details aside, I'm pretty sure that's the first time the above sentence has been true in all of Runeterra's history.
