@Riot: Just wanting a bit of clarification...
(Not sure if I'm posting this in the right area, let me know if I ain't, Mods.)
Now, we all know that
and
are slated for 2020 VGUs, thanks to the voting poll.
And with Qiyana
out in the open, the next thing we KNOW about is the VGU for League's resident baker/Leonidas reference,
Pantheon!
The thing I'm wanting clarified is... ARE THERE ANY VGU'S PLANNED FOR THIS YEAR (2019) AFTER PANTHEON?
Like I said above, we're already aware of Voli and Fiddle being planned for 2020. Perfectly fine, nothing wrong with that. We also know thanks to the April Champ Roadmap, and I quote: "we also have a very non-traditional marksman planned for late this year." So there's a new marksman coming along SOMETIME later this year, presumably around the months of October, November, somewhere around there, assuming that Pantheon releases around August or maybe September. I would also ASSUME (This is the future according to Ebony, take with a grain of salt) that New Champions will be placed between the Voli and Fiddle VGU's, akin to what has been done with past champion release cycles (One, then the other; VGU, New Champ, VGU, New Champ and so on)
So, Reav3, or anyone else at Riot that can speak on this subject, all you really have to say is: "Yes", "No" or "I can't really say anything".
The reason I'm asking this is because Morde's VGU and the new champ Qiyana both released within ONE PATCH of each other.
- 9.12
- 9.13
I've seen it said (I don't remember EXACTLY where, sorry, not citing my sources I suppose) that Riot can "speed up" releases during the summer. Does this mean we're going to be seeing the Panth VGU alot sooner than we thought? Like, within a few patches, even?
All I'm asking is... DON'T RUSH IT, RIOT.
While I LOVE the new Morde, I can't deny that some aspects DID feel a bit... rushed (Certain skins lacking appropriate particle effects, anyone?).
Take your time with our resident baker. I may not play him, but I'm trying to speak for those that DO. DON'T RUSH IT.
