Book of Thresholds Final Chapter

Okay, so as we know, Yuumi brings Book into every battle. And for the most part, Yuumi uses her own abilities to fight. Because Book is a Book, and is not made for fighting. Now, this has one clear exception, which is Yuumi's ult, Final Chapter, where Book exudes pure magical energy to damage and root enemies. But Book doesn't have any combat capabilities, I don't think. What Book's purpose is, is to open portals to distant places. So that got me thinking about Final Chapter. If it is a portal, like I think, then what place in the world could be so dangerous that mere proximity to it has such an effect? I personally have no idea, but I think it's a fun thing to think about!

I was under the impression she was invoking the Lost Chapter's torn page stumps causing the magic to go haywire since it has nowhere to send her but still produces the magic.

Disagree entirely, yuumi is a yordle and as we know a yordle perceives things based on their own thoughts and opinions and others as well so i propose that the book itself has a single portal spell and yuumi mistakes the entire book as being that therefore its all it can do because yordle logic.

In reality her master knows exactly what the book really is and never told yuumi and those missing pages are not her masters location but a series of spells far to powerful to leave in one of the most deadliest grimoires ever written above even the book Karthus uses and while it is sentient its affected by Yuumi's perception of it thus becomes harmless.

That great evil thats constantly chasing yuumi? its seeking the book and more importantly to separate Yuumi from it so the book can remember what it truly is so it can begin its great plan.
