Composing and producing in the game industry.

Hi! I'm a senior in highschool and will be graduating soon however idk where to take myself from there. My dream is to become a composer or producer for music in video games. I've been playing league since season 3 and never lost my passion for the game. This game and many others has cultivated my love for the music put into these pieces of art. My question is what do I do to get into the industry and how much do riot composers generally make? Money isn't important but I am curious. Any information will be helpful and usefull!
